I leave it on for at least 10 minutes in the shower, or if I have time, I wash my hair in the evening and leave this conditioner on for more than an hour for extra benefits. It smells wonderful, too, with a vanilla-coconut gourmand type scent that makes your hair smell delicious. I also use the Healing Oil (same scent) from the Virtue product line, and it also works well. Fine quality product -- worth the expense!
