Both me and my husband are using this and we've noticed our hair filling out in some of the thinner areas. You won't end up with the luscious locks of your early 20s, but it does seem to work. 4 stars is because the taste is kinda fishy-tasting - bothers me but not my husband as much. Recommend to give it a try and give it 90-days - you need to give the new hair enough time to grow out - don't give up on it too early.

Extremely dissatisfied
I've been using Viviscal for 5 months now. My hair is the same. Thin, lifeless, not thick, shiny, or ant growth. Some have experienced eyebrow and eye lash growth. Not me. This product is very expensive not to work. I wasn't expecting a miracle but I was expecting some results. Save your money and don't buy. I'm looking for another hair growth that might help. Viviscal is ranked #3 in the top hair growth supplements which is good but they have fillers that aren't good for the hair.

I've been using Viviscal PRO twice a day for one month. I'm honestly stunned at how much it has lessened the shedding! Within two weeks there was a noticeable difference and at the one month mark I estimate the shedding has reduced 80-90%. As someone who was losing a handful with each shampooing, this is a big deal. Another very unexpected result is my nails are growing like crazy and oddly enough, my skin isn't nearly as dry. As a post-menopausal 53 year old, all of these results are most welcomed! I’m not sure what to say. The Viviscal pro vitamins came quickly and nicely packaged. I’ve been using as directed for about a month. Nothing has changed. I’m still steadily losing hair from TE, diagnosed by my dermatologist. I hope to see new growth by the end of month 3, as the vitamins claim to work in 3-6 months. Time will tell.

Taking this faithfully - little noticeable results
I have androgenic alopecia and have been on Minoxidil for 5 years. Recently I started taking Viviscal Pro to see if it would help. I have been on it for 5 months and see very little difference - no increase in growth BUT I think it may be slowing the loss. It's not making it worse - but I sure wish scientists could find a REAL treatment for genetic androgenic alopecia.
