I bought this product from my dermatologist and used it for three months, taking one table twice a day. I shed less and my hair seems a bit thicker - I don't know, though, if this incremental improvement has been caused by Viviscal or a topical treatment purchased at CVS, which I apply to my scalp twice a day. Nevertheless, I have just purchased another 3 month supply of Viviscal. We'll see if the results are more radical.

Best Supplement for Hair and Nails

Too early to tell
I heard it will take about two or three months to see any result ... so I am just crossing my fingers.. I am in the need for some long , soft shiny hair ... the pill is kinda hard for me to take sometimes and I have to remember to take it two times a day after a meal 😒 it doesn't go down easily and the taste does make me gag.. all that said, yes I hope it's worth the troubles .. lol

I have noticed reduced shedding but have yet to see improvement with thickness of my hair. I will continue use for another 3 months (per the instructions, 3-6 months) to see if I will have any improvement with thickness.

Viviscal was recommended to me by my dermatologist, for hair regrowth. I have had thinning hair since I was a teenager, which has gotten progressive worse. I have found that after changing my shampoo/conditioner, and adding Viviscal to my daily vitamins my hair is naturally thicker. I tried to reduce the tablets to 1 a day, after 6 months, but have found that my hair responds better to twice daily, looking fuller.

Growing hair!!!
It's been 3-4 months and I am growing hair. I can't say yet that it's the miracle worker some think but there has been improvement and maintaining at this point is great in and of itself. I'd say give it a try! I was skeptical to say the least but it has made more difference than lots of other options I've tried.
