This product was recommended as part of my treatment plan by my dermatologist after being diagnosed with telogen effluveum and female pattern baldness. I realize it's supposed to take 3-6 months to start noticing results, but I noticed a change in my hair after about 2 weeks. My baby hairs along my temples weren't breaking off anymore and I had less fallout almost immediately. Never Expected This!
I have been losing hair over the last few years. Then I started losing it at a rapid pace. I was terrified that I was going bald. Better than expected
Had several concerns, hair falling out when brushing, after washing, widening part, expanding balding spot in cowlick area, etc. Tried many products without results. Noticeable improvement in hair loss in brush and after washing after 6 weeks., now almost not noticeable at all. Visible growth 'magically' appeared in thinning/balding after four months. New problem is the 'new shorter hairs' that are filling in in those areas.. (Nice problem to have).. Give it time, it works. Will not be without.

Best Hair I've Ever Had
Personally, I think the nicest my hair has ever been is when I was taking a combo of Viviscal extra strength + professional strength. As you can tell by the picture, I have started up again taking this combo of Viviscal supplements because I've recently realized how much thicker my hair was back when I was taking it regularly, and am motivated again to return to that. I have naturally thin hair and have been pleasantly surprised with how much thicker my hair has gotten in just the last 8mo. Don’t think I really noticed any changes until a few months in, so don't get discouraged if you don't notice any difference right away. And one final note, I'm not 100% positive that the two are correlated, but I did notice my face/back/chest having a small increase in breakouts when I first started taking Viviscal. I only noticed it flaring up a bit whenever I would start over with taking these (i.e., if I stopped taking them for a week or so and then started back up again). But again, can't say for certain that it was caused by the Viviscal, as I do have acne prone skin and have always struggled with random breakouts that can be caused by so many other outside factors. Either way, it wasn't anything severe and usually cleared up pretty quickly.

I bought these for my mother who had sudden hair loss due to extreme stress/grief. She already had thinning hair before but now that she’s been taking these for 4 months, her hair is coming back thicker than before. She does use exfoliating and stimulating shampoos and serums as well. I do think Viviscal is one of the more reliable supplements out there for hair regrowth. You will need to use it for at least 60 days to see nice results.

Stopped my hair loss from 3 surgeries.
After an emergency gastro. surgery in Nov. (2019), I was losing handfuls of hair by January and was totally panicked knowing I had 2 more surgeries to go. They say it's caused from the anesthesia.
