Honestly don’t know
I had two major surgeries in a a 4 month period and blamed my hair loss on the anesthesia. I have lots of little baby hairs growing now and feel that my supplements deserve a big portion of the credit. I’m actually only taking one pill per day and am further supplementing with another brand. The other brand contains vitamin D and my last few blood tests have shown very high vitamin D levels so I’m taking 3/4 of the dose of the other supplement and 1/2 dose of Viviscal because it doesn’t contain vitamin D. The results are good. Maybe because of other brand / maybe because of Viviscal. Maybe because I’m a year past the surgeries. Whatever is working is working so I plan to stay the course.

Thicker hair
I started losing my thick hair a decade ago. I had lost my daughter & I believe the stress caused hair loss. Since being a regular user my hair is healthier & thicker. I havnt noticed anything yet. But I’ve only taken one pack. But I do wish the pill was more narrow. I hate the feeling of it touching my throat every time I swallow. If it was skinnier it wouldn’t be an issue at all. But so far that’s my only complaint.

I am 69 yrs old and my once thick hair started thinning considerably after menopause. It’s a little early but…
I’ve been taking these twice a day as suggested for about 3 weeks. Although it hasn’t caused any new hair growths (it’s too early), I do feel that it is already strengthening and darkening my hairs. I notice this on my eyebrows and eyelashes too. I don’t really take other supplements specific for hair besides these, iron, and vitamin c. Sometimes collagen. I do think these supplements accelerated the thickening of my hairs. Oh, also less hair fall!! I will try to post an updated review when I see more results.

Hair Loss
I started taking Viviscal because I am in menapause and notice a lot more shedding. I am into my second month and I finally see a difference. There is less shedding!! I will continue to take and hope to see thicker hair soon. I know it is not an overnight solution and it is a commitment. I think this stuff really works?!
I first started using this back in the summer so it's been about 4 months now. I could definitely tell a change in my scalp which gave me hope. For a while it did look like I had new growth too! I'm not sure if I'm just used to it now or there is something else going on, but I just had another massive shedding and am not seeing any new growth. I still highly recommend you give it a shot though! It was very promising in the beginning and it is possible I have something else going on with me. You do have to give it at least two months to work.
