new packaging dreadful!

I have been a BIG fan of HA5 for several years. I've never written a negative review but here goes. The new package contains 1.7oz instead of 2oz, the bottle is a LOT heavier, so tall is no longer fits in any cabinet in our bathroom. AND the price has gone up. A BUST of a rebrand! Very sorry to say Skin Medica, I am no longer a fan.

It layers well under sunscreen and makeup, and unlike many serums, it does not pill. I apply it twice a day, followed by a light mist of mineral spray. It has been a great way to help my skin repair from the dryness and patchiness caused by daily Retin-A use. The bottle lasts several weeks with twice daily use, but it's still very expensive. Makes a great gift!

I have never been able to use a retinol product. My skin is very sensitive and becomes very red and irritated. This product is the exception. I started out slowly and while I did become slightly irritated, it was manageable. I slowly worked up to every other night and sometimes nightly. No more irritation and my skin looked great. I could really see a difference in my skin. I used to whole bottle and I'm now trying to use the stronger .50. I will review that after a few weeks.

The new packaging for the HA5 Hydra Collagen Replenish + Restore Hydrator is pretty but awful! It's only 1.7 ounces while the older one was 2 ounces! Additionally, I have to take it apart and shake the remaining serum out of the bottle after using about 1 ounce of the product! I have used this serum for years but I refuse any longer to pay more for less product in a container that doesn't pump out all of the product!! Help SkinMedica!!
