When I first opened this I was worried that it would be too warm or brownish, kind of like MAC Blushbaby, but on my cheeks it looks more like a slightly cool-toned soft mauve. Very natural and very flattering. I have fair neutral/cool olive skin and it did not turn orange on me during the day.

I’m enjoying the clean healthy feeling of minerals on my face and knowing every ingredient is good for protecting my skin. I have not used any makeup foundations for years. This product is so easy to apply and I find it smooths out my skin and actually feel good. No creases or heavy makeup look. And only five ingredients as well. I apply it on top of hydrating sunscreen. It’s a joy and I feel good. At 72, it’s a treat to use it, just a nice touch. The starter kit with brush is great.

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blonzer is a terrific blush. I bought it in the Pink shade, as I have fair skin. It does not change color and lasts throughout the day, which is difficult for me, as my skin is a bit oily. My cheeks and forehead look sun-kissed which I was hoping for. I honestly had never found a blush that stayed true to color all through the day until now, and I have used many of them throughout the years.

I used this product for a spell several years ago. Perhaps I misremembered liking it a lot, or perhaps the product has been modified. In any case, I am surprised by how slick the current version is. That’s ok, but isn’t really the feel or texture I expected. Also, the stick of product arrived dislodged from its base in the case/tube. It actually was stuck to the cap when I opened the tube. On the bright side, the shade I selected (bamboo) matched my recollection of same from several years ago.

The Pressed application is a lighter luminous appearance. The pro was not having to spread power on a palate. First impression if you like the powder turned cream medium coverage look and healthy feel This One is Not for You. My problem with Original is oxidation does the powder hold up for more than several months?
