I have to admit it was an adjustment to use a spray on product. I took the advice from other reviews and applied product with a cotton swab and it has become a staple in my morning routine. It’s not drying and does make a difference with my oily skin before I apply makeup.

This product line is usually safe for sensitive skin like mine, but I did find this cream to be a bit harsh, or irritating, during the first week of use. So I would suggest going easy and limiting its use to every other day, just once a day, at first -- if you have sensitive skin. There's also a slight fragrance, so it could be that or the salicylic acid that gives me a slight burning sensation. I'm starting to adjust to it, but haven't tried it long enough to report on longtime consistent use.

I tried this product on my face and neck, but it was a bit too strong on first couple of tries. But please note that I have very sensitive skin. That said, I am now using the product on my shoulders and back, where I have breakouts and thicker skin -- and it works very well to resolve that issue quickly. I might be able to try it again on my face with a moisturizer first, then slowly increase the times I use it.
