I am not a hyperbolic person and it takes a lot for me to place a product at the very top of my list. I’m often on the hunt for something “just a little better”. But this is honestly the best body scrub I have ever used. For me, it’s all about the consistency. – It’s pregnancy safe, so I can use this without concern. But that also means I can use this beyond pregnancy and feel good about it. – The bamboo granules are small, like sand, but they’re not rough like sand. So they spread evenly across a large surface and also feel good to scrub. It doesn’t hurt or irritate my skin. – The foaming element also helps the product to spread. You need a very small bead to cover your arm or leg. I’ve found that I use a lot more product with other scrubs to get the same results. – The smell is nice and refreshing. It really does seem spa-like and isn’t overly cloying or synthetic. – There isn’t a ton of oil that floats to the surface. It’s pretty dry but it’s easy to take from the jar. I don’t feel like I’m digging into a hard section to mix oil in. And in fact, the instructions say to mix the product, but I didn’t need to. I felt very clean afterwards and smooth. I’m not sure if this is necessarily hydrating, because I did follow up when an in-shower body oil. But I prefer this method to having to stir gloopy, oily clumps very time I want to use a body scrub. I will be buying more as gifts!

This lotion was pretty okay initially, but after several hours, there's one ingredient that keeps on working and it seriously burns, and it won' wash off and won't go away: capsaicin. I put the lotion on my legs and got some nice relief last night, but now it's the next day and my legs just burn, they feel like they're on fire. This stuff is going straight into my garbage, I can't believe such a product is even on the market, who would want this feeling? I feel like someone lathered me with ghost pepper...I don't know what to do to neutralize the burning, do I wipe milk on my legs? This is a serious problem, I can't work because the burning is so severe and distracting--and I'm not kidding, I put the lotion on last night. If you enjoy a haunting lotion that'll follow you more than 12 hours after you use it, this stuff is for you.
