I didn't know I was allergic to beeswax until using this product. My lips went swollen and were in pain. I later found out that the natural ingredients are great in theory; however, the more plant sources involved, the higher the chance that something sets your lips off. Please do a patch test on the corner of your mouth or inner arm. Leave it on for 24-48 hours and notice if you have any itching, burning, tingling, or swelling.

I am not a hyperbolic person and it takes a lot for me to place a product at the very top of my list. I’m often on the hunt for something “just a little better”. But this is honestly the best body scrub I have ever used. For me, it’s all about the consistency. – It’s pregnancy safe, so I can use this without concern. But that also means I can use this beyond pregnancy and feel good about it. – The bamboo granules are small, like sand, but they’re not rough like sand. So they spread evenly across a large surface and also feel good to scrub. It doesn’t hurt or irritate my skin. – The foaming element also helps the product to spread. You need a very small bead to cover your arm or leg. I’ve found that I use a lot more product with other scrubs to get the same results. – The smell is nice and refreshing. It really does seem spa-like and isn’t overly cloying or synthetic. – There isn’t a ton of oil that floats to the surface. It’s pretty dry but it’s easy to take from the jar. I don’t feel like I’m digging into a hard section to mix oil in. And in fact, the instructions say to mix the product, but I didn’t need to. I felt very clean afterwards and smooth. I’m not sure if this is necessarily hydrating, because I did follow up when an in-shower body oil. But I prefer this method to having to stir gloopy, oily clumps very time I want to use a body scrub. I will be buying more as gifts!

I've only used it a couple times, but I love the smell and I feel that it gets my scalp cleaner than shampooing alone. I have had issues with sebaceous cysts on my scalp in the past and was hoping to reduce those. I haven't seen any reduction in the size of existing ones yet. My hair does seem very soft after use. I only wash my hair twice a week so I am using it one of those times. I'll check back in after a few months!
