I first bought this when I was blow drying and loved it. I now wear my 3B/C curls natural and had some left over--tried it....to my surprise it's great for refreshing curls....helps tame frizz...but more importantly I can put a tiny bit on my finger and shape a "dead" curl...or squish it thru and reactivate curls that have begun to "die" after a few days... it also moisturizes during very dry heat days.

I was initially inclined not to use this product with the shampoo because it seems thick and usually products like that make my hair limp. I tried using my regular conditioner with the recovery shampoo and didn’t like the results so I finally used it and was pleasantly surprised. Will be using twice weekly moving forward.
