The item arrived quickly. I tried several other Colorscience color balms and this one worked the best on my skin tone as a blush. The color wears well through the day and is closest o my natural pinky color. I use my fingers to apply.

This does not work as either a lip balm or cheek color. The formula is too drying for lips. And the large, oblong tube is too awkwardly shaped for lip application or blush application. Definitely not worth $39. Back to my other lip balm....

Perfecto.

I can only compare this to another SPF lip balm from another brand, and I’d say I prefer this brand over the other.. I am realizing it’s not easy formulating a lip balm w SPF in an elegant way. They tend to be drying so I layer it w a lightweight lip balm underneath. I love the color as it’s pretty pigmented. Definitely not a “balm” formula, more like a lipstick

The tube does not work. I can roll the product up to apply it, but it won’t roll back down unless I use my finger and press it back into the tube. I contacted customer service. They said they never had this issue, and asked for a video. I sent it, and they agreed to send a new one after returning the old tube. The new tube is the same way! Ugh. I really like the color, but can’t see paying for it again (especially if it isn’t on sale) if I have to push it back into the tube every time.

I ordered this in the color "blush". I tap it on my cheeks after foundation and it looks like a barely there sun kissed look. I love it. And anything with SPF to help protect my cheeks that are prone to melasma is a bonus!!

I use this as both my blush and lip color (under a gloss for hydration). I love that my makeup is just an added layer of sunscreen!

I love to use these color balms on my face! I use them all summer and in the winter when I walk every morning. The bronze is my favorite color, for contouring. It's so easy to control the application and the balm blends easily with a brush. I have used all the blush colors, too, and am on my second round. I have light/fair skin and they all work well for me. I can't say how they work as balm on the lips. I felt they were drying. I prefer to use long lasting lippies. However, I do LOVE the Colorscience SPF35 Lip Shine glosses and highly recommend them. Although they are not as opaque as I'd like, I often apply a lip liner underneath for more color. Love the protection!

This takes some getting used to if you usually wear powder blush and the consistency is more firm than other cream or stick blushes I’ve used, so application is a little tricky. I find using a fingertip and starting light works best. it’s nice to have makeup with spf but I wish it was more spreadable.

I don't understand the complaints about this color balm being too dry. It's exactly as it should be and the colors are amazing. After applying my skincare products - ending with moisturizer - I use a sheer tinted sunscreen as a foundation then apply this for a touch of color. Nothing else needed. It blends very well and looks extremely natural. If my skin isn't properly hydrated, yes it's bit difficult to blend. But that's a me issue and not the product. I highly recommend it. Excellent for additional sun protection and anti-aging.

I have tried soooo many cheek tints, stains and blushers. I hesitated to try this one because some of the other reviews felt the application was to the dry side. My routine is to moisturize and follow with a moisturizing sun screen so dryness is not an issue for me. This blush is what I’ve been looking for. The color (berry) is intense, so a little goes a long way and the color lasts all day. The bonus is the spf. I’m going back for more…

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I am so unhappy with this item. It is extremely dry and difficult to apply. I know it can't be returned and this and another item I ordered at the same time, I am so very unhappy with. I don't know what would be positive to say about this product.

I’ve been eyeing the trio set of these for a while but was nervous to go all in on something I’ve never tried. I opted to just purchase the Berry color to see if I liked it. I’m shocked by how much I love it! The color is beautiful and fades to a lovely stain. It did not make my lips feel dry at all- I actually found the balm to be moisturizing. I love it on my cheeks as well, though you need very little because the color is bold, so not sure how much extra sun protection it’s providing…but I love that this makeup is actually sunscreen! I’m definitely sold on purchasing the trio & can’t wait to try them out!

Not as creamy as I think of when I think of a balm, but once I apply to my cheeks (I use as a bit of cheek color) I like the look. I would buy this again, however, because of the sunscreen protection. If I could go back and change anything about my skincare routine it would be to use sunscreen on a daily basis and products that contain SPF. Never too late to start.

I was really excited to try an SPF 50 blush as I’ve never heard of a blush with any sun protection. I purchased the blush color and it’s beautiful on my cheeks. I think I’d like a different color on my lips as this color is fairly light I’m not sure about using it as an eyeshadow. I didn’t think it was dark enough. Still it’s a good value just using it as a blush and especially if it’s on sale.

I purchased the berry color. Pros: - beautiful color - high sun protection at SPF 50 - leaves a nice lip stain as the lipstick wears off - can be used as sun protecting blush as well - compact - very pigmented and long-lasting; one swipe is very pigmented and bold - no scent - beautiful matte color if you lightly dab lipstick - not pasty-looking - complimented my tan/brown Fitzpatrick III / IV skin - great for looking fabulous and made-up during the summer months at the beach Cons: - very thick on the lips when applying the amount you need to get sun protection - the cap loosened as time went on, presenting the risk of staining your purse (as you pull the product out of a bag, either the cap or lipstick tube itself gets stuck) - Because you need to put a decent amount to get the full SPF 50, it leaves you lips looking very shiny in an unflattering way. I wish the formula were a little more matte so that it could be wearable. It is not as long lasting and it transfers very easily the more product you put on. Less is more if you want a wearable lipstick but a light application will decrease the SPF; if you want full protection, you may have very shiny/greasy looking lips (but maybe I'm applying too much?). I bought two on sale, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase since it looks kind of unflattering. I'm on the fence though since it's really useful for looking made up on beach days.
