The Colorescience Total Protection Color Balm SPF 50 brings color and protection to cheeks and lips.

This lip and cheek balm gives skin a flair of color. Use it to highlight, accent and bring out the best of your contours. Each application adds the benefit of Colorescience's EnviroScreen Technology, an all-mineral sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB radiation. It also blocks damage from pollution, blue light and infrared radiation, all sources of premature aging. Available in eight colors, this balm combines total protection with artistic style.

An End To The SPF White Cast

I am so happy I found this color balm. I am a 50 year old male and recent Mohs surgery led to my consistent use of untinted sunscreen. Regardless of product choice it left me with a pale, washed out look. I apply this product after my sunscreen to my brow, cheeks, nose, and jaw line and magically attain that spot of color creating a healthy and refreshed look. This is simple to apply and layers well on sunscreen. It is so easy to transport and reuse when reapplication is called for. I truly appreciate the SPF qualities of this as well. I found the shade called Violet Haze is perfect for me in creating a “bronzed sun” appearance. I can’t rate this product highly enough!

Nice Alternative to Powder Blushes

Just thought I’d try this for the summer. It’s not the smoothest of creams to apply, but I like the color. I just tab a bit on my cheekbone area and pat in. Same with the lips if I use it as a lipstick. For a summer time hint of color it’s alright. If you’re looking for a creamy, rolls on easily/smooth on type of blush this isn’t it. But I like it for how I’m using it.

Very hard to apply

I wanted to like this badly, as I like many Colorscience products. I also like a colored/tinted lip balm for summer with sunscreen. This is a very thick stick, and I usually have to get a Q-tip and then kind of smear this into my lips as evenly as possible. Sometimes I put on another lip balm first to add more moisturizer. The positive thing is that I find it stays on quite a while, but I won't purchase this item again.
