My favorite beauty product
If I had to choose one beauty product, Alastin HydraTint would be it! It protects my skin with SPF, adds a sheer sheen and healthy looking tint. It covers small blemishes and hides redness. Most days I use it as makeup instead of foundation. It looks so fresh and natural.

Too dark, too orange, caused minor rosacea issue
The title says it all. The pluses: good texture, no scent, spreads well. Unable to determine if it lives up to the SPF value stated. The color is the main issue. It may rub off on clothing. It is too dark for my skin tone, but, more importantly, it's too orange in color, an issue others have noted, and one I should have taken nto account. Tried mixing it with another brand's lighter sunscreen, but it didn't mix well. Looks like this product will be featured on the back of my hands until I run out. Also caused a minor rosacea issue which I hope will resolve itself soon. Will not repurchase.

Best tinted moisturizer
This is the e best tinted moisturizer ever! The color is perfect and it kind of acts as a primer for makeup. My dermatologist recommended it and she was spot on! It’s also moisturizing enough that I don’t have to use moisturizer on top of it

Good spf
So my favorite tinted mineral sunscreen was from a different brand but they discontinued it so I read reviews and decided on this as a replacement. While I like it I don’t like it as much as that one.. I loved that one! But this one feels more like makeup and looks like melted makeup by the end of the day. I also feel the color shows more on this one. Things I do like: it lasts all day. It doesn’t break me out. Things I don’t like: it feels heavy. It doesn’t protect my skin very well. I still get burned with this on while as the other brand I did not. I will continue to use it until gone but I will not repurchase.

Alastin hydra tint
This is my second purchase. I use this on my face and neck after cleansing, toning and moisturizing. After those steps I apply it to my face and neck. It works great as sun protection and a light coverage foundation. I have a medium skin tone so I’m not sure if this would work for any darker skin tones or very fair skin tones. I apply mineral foundation overtop if I am doing a fuller make up face to add deeper tone where needed and mineral blush. I’m confident with e sun protection and that it doesn’t cause crepey skin look or pill like many tinted moisturizers do.

Long lasting sunscreen
I bought this after receiving a sample to try. I am very picky about my sunscreens due to having mature skin that is prone to breakouts, sensitivity, oiliness and my face sweats easily. I found the tint color very natural on my fair skin. I don't wear foundation makeup, but this product does provide a foundation like coverage and smooths out your imperfections while still looking fairly natural for a mineral sunscreen. My favorite part about this mineral sunscreen is that it did not make my face greasy at all and it did not budge while sweating through yardwork. I still like the transparent look of my fave non mineral sunscreen, this one is in my top 3. If I know I'm going to be doing physical activities and sweating, this mineral sunscreen will be my first choice. If you wear foundation makeup, try this instead of your foundation. This gives you nice coverage and sun protection, which is so important.
