Good spf
So my favorite tinted mineral sunscreen was from a different brand but they discontinued it so I read reviews and decided on this as a replacement. While I like it I don’t like it as much as that one.. I loved that one! But this one feels more like makeup and looks like melted makeup by the end of the day. I also feel the color shows more on this one. Things I do like: it lasts all day. It doesn’t break me out. Things I don’t like: it feels heavy. It doesn’t protect my skin very well. I still get burned with this on while as the other brand I did not. I will continue to use it until gone but I will not repurchase.

Not for my fair skin
The tint was too dark and too orange on me. It also was cakey. I know this has been highly touted on social media, but it was a fail for me. Back it goes.

Alastin hydra tint
This is my second purchase. I use this on my face and neck after cleansing, toning and moisturizing. After those steps I apply it to my face and neck. It works great as sun protection and a light coverage foundation. I have a medium skin tone so I’m not sure if this would work for any darker skin tones or very fair skin tones. I apply mineral foundation overtop if I am doing a fuller make up face to add deeper tone where needed and mineral blush. I’m confident with e sun protection and that it doesn’t cause crepey skin look or pill like many tinted moisturizers do.

I really like the texture and the coverage. Looks good and no breakouts. Wish it came in more a range of shades.. I’m fair and this would be better if it were a tad lighter. But it’s hard for me to find sunscreen that doesn’t break me out.

Long lasting sunscreen
I bought this after receiving a sample to try. I am very picky about my sunscreens due to having mature skin that is prone to breakouts, sensitivity, oiliness and my face sweats easily. I found the tint color very natural on my fair skin. I don't wear foundation makeup, but this product does provide a foundation like coverage and smooths out your imperfections while still looking fairly natural for a mineral sunscreen. My favorite part about this mineral sunscreen is that it did not make my face greasy at all and it did not budge while sweating through yardwork. I still like the transparent look of my fave non mineral sunscreen, this one is in my top 3. If I know I'm going to be doing physical activities and sweating, this mineral sunscreen will be my first choice. If you wear foundation makeup, try this instead of your foundation. This gives you nice coverage and sun protection, which is so important.

Love How It Feels But…
I’ve been wanting to try this tinted sunscreen for quite a while. It feels smooth and lightweight on my skin, as well as provides perfect coverage. What’s not so great is what some others have said…it has a slight orange tint which makes it a bit off for my fair to light skin tone. If not for the orange tint, I’d give it 5 stars.

Disappointed
I wasted big bucks on this item, the tint is wayyy too dark on my light olive skin tone. I was looking so forward to receiving this product and wanted to cry when I saw the color. It is a medium, orangey-tint; which is totally unflattering and dark on my face. I let my daughter try it, but she is fairer than me and hated it on herself even more. I can’t wear it because it looks like I am wearing a mask. I feel like I flushed $76 into the toilet, because I threw out the box it came in and can’t send it back. Why did Alastin make this so dark?

Best tinted sunscreen I've used
I'm 68 yo and was given a couple of samples of the ALASTIN skincare HydraTint by my Plastic surgeons PA. This is the best! I've used many tinted sunscreens because I don't like to use foundation but I like a little tint to even up my skin tone. This sunscreen has a light/medium thickness, doesn't dry too fast. I have time to spread it out before drying. Doesn't give any white tint. It's similar to a nice light foundation with great coverage. I will definitely buy this again.

Bronzed Skin
This non-greasy sunscreen is a must have. Gives my Fitzpatrick skin type II a glowing bronzed color without the need for additional foundation or concealers. I have removed one star from the rating only because the bronzed glow is a bit on the orange side that will not be to everyone's liking if you have fair skin. However, the way the product feels and makes my skin look, I can live with the color. This is a product I will not be without.

This is the best of the best, and I am a sunscreen fanatic that has tried many in the past. This product goes on like silk, is super hydrating, and last all day!
