Feels hydrating and light
I haven’t had a sunscreen like this yet. A pump of this comes out light to medium thickness, goes on super smooth, feels rich and a little cushiony, but not too thick or sticky. Dries down perfectly in my opinion- doesn’t completely feel invisible and dry like nothing, but skin feels like a light hydrating cushion is on it, I usually don’t wear anything on top but if I need more coverage I will add a different brand tinted sunscreen over it that acts more like foundation. Alastin evens out/blurs a bit but likely won’t cover any major discolorations. The tint seems quite universal. Doesn’t have a white cast at all in my opinion and I have medium complexion, neutral to warm undertones (I can wear both). My skin has done well with no adjustment periods or breakouts. I think this is going to be my new favorite after years of wearing another brand of tinted anti aging sunscreen that is thicker. Skin feels very smooth and soft. I usually use a peptide serum first then vitamin C lotion then this for day.

Lightweight
My derm wears this all the time. I had a BBL treatment last July and after she mixed this sunscreen with some non tinted Isdin and put it on my face. I have been using it ever since. My skin is fair and that is why she added the Isdin to it. I have had no flares of my rosacea or any reaction from my very sensitive skin.

My favorite beauty product
If I had to choose one beauty product, Alastin HydraTint would be it! It protects my skin with SPF, adds a sheer sheen and healthy looking tint. It covers small blemishes and hides redness. Most days I use it as makeup instead of foundation. It looks so fresh and natural.

Too dark, too orange, caused minor rosacea issue
The title says it all. The pluses: good texture, no scent, spreads well. Unable to determine if it lives up to the SPF value stated. The color is the main issue. It may rub off on clothing. It is too dark for my skin tone, but, more importantly, it's too orange in color, an issue others have noted, and one I should have taken nto account. Tried mixing it with another brand's lighter sunscreen, but it didn't mix well. Looks like this product will be featured on the back of my hands until I run out. Also caused a minor rosacea issue which I hope will resolve itself soon. Will not repurchase.

Best tinted moisturizer
This is the e best tinted moisturizer ever! The color is perfect and it kind of acts as a primer for makeup. My dermatologist recommended it and she was spot on! It’s also moisturizing enough that I don’t have to use moisturizer on top of it

Good spf
So my favorite tinted mineral sunscreen was from a different brand but they discontinued it so I read reviews and decided on this as a replacement. While I like it I don’t like it as much as that one.. I loved that one! But this one feels more like makeup and looks like melted makeup by the end of the day. I also feel the color shows more on this one. Things I do like: it lasts all day. It doesn’t break me out. Things I don’t like: it feels heavy. It doesn’t protect my skin very well. I still get burned with this on while as the other brand I did not. I will continue to use it until gone but I will not repurchase.

Alastin hydra tint
This is my second purchase. I use this on my face and neck after cleansing, toning and moisturizing. After those steps I apply it to my face and neck. It works great as sun protection and a light coverage foundation. I have a medium skin tone so I’m not sure if this would work for any darker skin tones or very fair skin tones. I apply mineral foundation overtop if I am doing a fuller make up face to add deeper tone where needed and mineral blush. I’m confident with e sun protection and that it doesn’t cause crepey skin look or pill like many tinted moisturizers do.
