When I use it though, I even tap leftover cream from my fingers onto my eyelids and it does not irritate my eyes or my skin there. This seems to be a very gentle formula. I was using tretinoin for a couple of years, and although it is very effective, it always irritated my skin before making the desired improvement. I was only using it a couple times a week and sometimes just once. My dermatologist suggested the retrinAL products and they are working well for me. The eye retrinAL is nice and thick and doesn't seep into your eyes (I do not put it right up to the lash line or on the lids) I have seen softening of lines without the irritation. I'm also using the retrinAL 0.1 without any problem and with softening lines. I understand this product takes longer to work but I am so glad not to have to worry about having a red and irritated face if an unexpected event comes up.
