I use it like a day cream because it is a lightweight moisturizer. First time I try Avenue product, I will buy more products from avenue because it is not greasy feeling like others pharmacy products.

Not bad but not my favorite
I used to love this face cream, but I no longer find it hydrating enough in winter. I love the consistency and that it dries and works well under makeup, but my skin is dry after a few hours. It was my go-to in my 20s, but now that I'm in my 30s I need something a little heavier. I keep a tube on hand because it's still a great option for spring and summers, but sadly, it's no longer my favorite during the colder months. It's too bad because it's really hard to find effective products with so few ingredients and such a "clean" formula.

This cream is really thick, and still not as moisturizing as others I have used. I also think I experienced more acne than I have with other moisturizers. Not a good one for me.

Not my favorite
I had purchased the Extremely Gentle Cleansing Lotion during my recent trip to Canada along with a moisturizer from another brand. That brand was not available from LovelySkin so I decided I would try another Avene product. I researched the different types of Avene products and selected this one. First, I do not like the squeeze tube. It has a weird mechanism that I find awkward to squeeze out a small amount. I always squeeze out more than I need. As for the product itself, it feels like an emollient petroleum jelly. I can see where it would be excellent for dry skin to keep in moisture but it is too smothering for my oily skin. I will use up this tube but will not repurchase.
