I originally really liked this product. It went on as a powder, buffed into a foundation and has GREAT coverage. After some time, it began oxidizing on my face, so to my horror I had an orange face! It also make my face feel oily. Not sure if it was reacting with other skincare, though

The Bare Minerals Original foundation is a wonderful product for anyone who wants to look finished with minimal time and effort. It is especially good for very warm days...stays right where you put it with no streaks or transfer. My only advice is that you use it correctly and start with a good makeup brush, (a brush for powder is best), put a tiny amount of product on it, swirl the brush in the product's lid to distribute the powder, then tap the brush on the lid to remove the excess. A little goes a long way and lasts a very long time.

I have been using this for a few years now. I ran into a lady at the bareMinerals counter and asked how the product was working for her, as her face looked absolutely flawless...and how can you not ask someone who looks so good what product they are using. First time using this powdered foundation and I am in love! I have used Clinique pressed powder since high school (that's 30+ years y'all!) and I always take the last little bit left and turn it into a powder so I can use every single speck! I found I like the brush application better than the sponge, so I thought why not try a purely powdered foundation. Natural Finish!
I love this foundation! It is lightweight and does not leave you “cakey”. It gives you a nice, natural finish and the benefit of SPF. I use it on top of the bareMinerals tinted SPF but it also works well on its own - it is buildable. My skin tends to get oily throughout the day but this stays on with no issue and keeps the oil to a minimum. I suggest using it with their brush or any fluffy brush that is similar!
