The best foundation...hands down!
I have been a Bare Minerals customer since 2006. I am 42 years old and this foundation does not settle into any creases! I love that it has the SPF in it, so in addition to the SPF in my moisturizer, I get the additional benefit of the SPF in the foundation! Once you try Bare Minerals you will understand why everyone loves it so much!

Cant beat the coverage and can be put on as sheerly as you want. I sometimes have trouble matching, as my skin does darken a little in the summer. But the choices are endless

Not for sensitive skin.
With the lure of natural ingredients that would be gentle on sensitive skin, I decided to give BareMinerals try. After a few weeks of using the BareMinerals foundation, blush, and eyeshadow I starting developing a severe allergic reaction - unbearably red, puffy, itchy skin around my eyes and cheeks. Ive experienced irritation from other cosmetics, but never to this extent. After researching possible causes for such a severe allergic reaction, I discovered the crystalline structure of bismuth oxychloride - one of BareMinerals main ingredients - has edges that can “poke” the skin. It took days for the swelling and itching to fully subside.

Did not work for me
I know others that love this product. The powder was too dry and looked like it had sparkles in it when applied to skin. I have great skin and want to use as extra protection over other skin care, especially sun block. I was unable to get a natural look, even with buffing with a facial tissue. The pores and hair on my face stood out. Yes, I did wait for the other products to dry and set before I used the product. My skin is light. The Light was too yellow so I used the fairly light. I have found another product that I now use and does meet my needs. I am glad that this product works so well for so many of the ladies. Believe me, I wanted to be one of them.

Love this makeup!
I was hesitant to try Bare Minerals because I have used liquid foundation my entire life. I didn't know if it would color well-enough for my 30 something skin. I find it covers and stays better than liquid foundation with a powder over top. I'm completely sold on Bare Minerals and can't imagine using anything else.

Good coverage
Feels light on the skin. Covers very well. A very light mist of water can take away the flat look if you want a more "dewy" look. One of my favorite foundations. Simple ingredients, They improved the container by adding a twist top inside the lid to dispense measured amounts.

Great, Natural Looking "Make Up"!
