I Really Like This Product.

Gentle exfoliant
I'm a recent Dermalogica convert having discovered the line last fall when I received a Dermalogica facial. I didn't expect to like a powdered exfoliant...would it be too harsh, would it be difficult to mix, would water get in the container when used in the shower. Well, I'm happy to say I love this product. The opening of the bottle is such that it's easy to dispense, even in the shower, and so far, I've had no issues with it getting clumpy from the steam. The powder mixes easily with water and provides a very gentle exfoliation. I do use it daily, as the name suggests. It does not over strip my skin but leaves it wonderfully smooth and bright.

Good but not for daily use
I used this product as directed every day for a week and found it was too harsh for my sensitive skin. My t-zone became red and dry, so I stopped using it until my skin returned to normal. I have gone back to using it only a couple of times a week, and it seems fine as long as I gently wash my face. It exfoliates well and a little bit of powder goes a long way.

Gentle but Effective
This exfoliant by Dermalogica works great. It effectively removes dead skin and debris without overly scratching your skin. It doesn’t have any fragrance or dyes only the ingredients needed to do the job. I have sensitive skin, and it’s the only exfoliant I’m able to use. It's pricy but worth it.

Must have for morning face wash for combo/oily skin
I am not a fan of "beauty blogger standard phrases,"However, this has become my so-called "staple" product in the last 5 years. Previously, when I lived in a dryer climate, I would use it ~3 times a week for a deeper cleanse/ light exfoliation. Now, living in hot and humid environment, my skin tends to be a bit more oily, and I prefer use it in the morning as my skin "wake-up" routine. It is very gentle, won't strip you but will gently exfoliate and prep the skin to absorb all the toners and hydration afterwards. if you had a very heavy make up, you may want to use it as your step-2 cleanser. You must add enough water to make it into a foamy paste. Otherwise, the powder will be grainy and not pleasant for more sensitive skin. It takes a bit of getting used to, as the product dispenser does not help with dosing, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty straightforward.

I use this every morning in the shower in lieu of a face wash and could not be happier with it. I leave it on a few seconds if I feel I need to. Otherwise, I very lightly scrub then rinse. My face feels super clean afterward and drinks in all my serums, creams and lotions. I find it minimizes bumps trying to form, any irregularity on the surface of my skin (within reason) and helps my skin be the best it can be.

Soft against the skin
I really like this exfoliator. I use it 2-3x a week at most which seems to be a perfect combination for my 45 yr old combination skin & in conjunction with my other facial products. Approved for Sensitive Skin
This microfoliant works best on my sensitive skin. Although my skin is not oily, I was experiencing one single cystic pimple every month. I find using this particular exfoliant 3x a week has helped to break this cycle and reduce the single cystic pimple size and occurrence. It is gentle yet effective, and doesn't over-exfoliate sensitive skin. I have purchased it several times and like it much better than the new charcoal version.

Gentle exfoliant
I had a facial that turned out nicely and asked what was used. She recommended this product. I don't really enjoy the hassle of the powder and mixing with water to get a paste and would prefer a product that is ready to use. I do think this is helpful for my skin and does not make it irritated or break out. I will continue to use it until I find something else. The Superfoliant by Dermalogica is catching my eye now. If I had a sample to try, would make the decision easier. This microfoliant will not irritate red skin or cause breakouts.
