I started using this years ago after getting a sample after a spa treatment. I have sensitive, dry skin, and never used sunscreen on my face until it was too late, so I have sunspots from cheek bones down to jaw line. Initially I was impressed with how it refined my pores ever so slightly and no dirt residue on my towels after drying my face, which I've had happen with other cleansers. It is thick and I initially used too much but lathers up once blended with water and becomes slightly foamy, which I love. What REALLY got my attention was after a month or so of using, I saw a very noticeable reduction in sunspots. I use a magnified mirror to put on makeup and was literally in shock seeing the change. I called my sister and told her to try it immediately and also started using excess on the back of my hands while washing my face (they too have spots now...I golf and the hand w/out the glove is worse). It is powerful, so I choose to only use at night now, not twice a day. I take it with me on all travel. I've used other Dermalogica products, but this is the only one I keep in my routine.
