I have used this product on and off for awhile. Despite it being extra strength, it doesn’t irritate my skin—even if I forget and leave it on longer than the 2 minutes they recommend. It leaves my skin looking refreshed and clear. Effects last for a few days or more. Hopefully effects are cumulative. Add a star for ease of use. Deduct a star for price, though it’s still a very affordable splurge.

This is a very strong exfoliant. It says that it can be used daily, but I have only used it once a week for the past two weeks and feel I couldn't stand more than that. I have somewhat sensitive, acne-prone skin that's combination to oily. I feel the 5 pack is a good deal for me if I'm only using these once a week for exfoliation. I plan on re-purchasing once I'm out!

Essential skin care
These Alpha Beta skin care pads were suggested to me by my best friend, a veteran of the beauty/skin care industry. They are essential in my daily routine, and help keep a more youthful appearance on my 40+ year old face. Great for both men and women. You should probably start with the regular pads and advance to extra strength, unless you have sensitive skin.

Cannot Live Without These
This product has changed my skin. I’ll never not use them. I’ve been using these consistently every other day for the last 4 months and WOW. I have always had clogged pores and blackheads on my nose and chin. These have helped reduce those clogged pores tremendously. Using these in combo with a daily Obagi C Serum have made my skin glow. Love This Stuff!
I have been using these peel pads on and off for several years now, and I can definitely say that my skin looks better (clearer and brighter), when I use them. The only reason I don't use them all the time is the steep price tag. If you can afford these, I highly recommend that you try them. Even though they are "extra-strength," I have never found them harsh or irritating like some AHA products. I am blessed with pretty good, normal skin to begin with, but I do get a few hormonal-related blemishes every month. I also have had a few areas of mild discoloration from large pimples that took forever to go away. When I use these pads, I almost never get the obligatory pimples that I would otherwise get during my "time of month." When I do get pimples, these pads help clear everything up faster and help prevent or at least minimize discoloration. That alone makes them worth using. I frequently get compliments on my smooth skin and complexion and I attribute it to these, as well as good genes (thanks, mom!). I have found that I can make these last twice as long by cutting each pad in half, putting the other half back in the packet and sealing the packet in a zip-lock to use the following night. I try to use them about 4-6 nights a week.

Amazing Results!
I bought this for myself to help exfoliate my more mature skin and for my daughter who has mild acne. It has been absolutely amazing for the both of us. We both saw immediate results. For me, it has completely diminished my lines and wrinkles, and my skin is much brighter and younger looking, more dewy fresh. My daughters acne has literally disappeared, and her pores are almost nonexistent. It says after using the first pad to leave on for 10 minutes or so before neutralizing with the second pad, but we let the first pad sit for about 30 minutes trying to get the most exfoliating results we can. Then, we use the second pad to neutralize. The first time we both used it, we noticed mild tingling after using the first pad, but nothing bothersome by any means. It does say to not rinse either product off but we both rinse the neutral off after it has sat for about 30 minutes because our faces feel kinda sticky. But after rinsing, our skin looks so amazing. This will always be a staple in our skin care regimen.

Good for maintenance
These pads provide a good, mild exfoliation. Doesn't cause me to peel or flake, but does create a freshness and glow. I use them once a week on my face, neck and chest because I use a nightly exfoliating toner (lotion P50). So I don't need to use the Gross 2x a week. I think these pads are good for staving off hyperpigmentation (and blemishes if you have them), and helps other products absorb better. But in my opinion, it is not a strong peel--even the extra strength. It's an exfoliant.

Adult Cystic Acne
Female 25~28 year old with sensitive combo skin, never used accutane, used Retin-A for only one month 2 years ago, and use Mario Badescu products (cleanser, moisturizer, facial spray). I was going to an esthetician bi-weekly ($45-50 per treatment, which wasn't unreasonable), where my acne just hurt so badly and lowered my self-esteem so much that I got desperate. After seeing my esthetician for 1.5 years, she raised her prices without telling me, AND made new clients off of my before-and-after pictures, where she gave me zero incentives (no discounts, no free facials--zilch)! I no longer have active acne, my cystic scars don''t last nearly as long, and my skin looks insanely smooth and hydrated the morning after. I STILL use this even though I have minimal active acne! Once my scars have gone away, I think I'll bump the peels down to the regular strength peels for maintenance. Needless to say, my confidence jumped back up with the use of these peels!
