Honestly probably the best mineral sunscreen I have used in the last year, I have repurchased this item 3 times now. I love the new formulation it blends so well with my skin. When I feel that it lightens me too much, I wait for the sunscreen to dry and apply bronze drops in the areas I would bronze if I were wearing make up. Definitely try this product out, highly recommend !

Not my favorite but does the trick
This goes on pretty thick, almost like makeup and can be a bit drying. The color is very pigmented so it is almost medium-coverage. I do use it when I need a physical sunscreen, but it can feel heavy.

Color is a little light and its too think for my face
I was told by my dermatologist that after my nose surgery I would need to put at least a 50 SPF on my face because my nose would darken and never lighten back up. She suggested this product. I just wish there was a darker color and it wasn't so thick on my face.

Broke Me Out Badly
I already reviewed the other SPF cream from this brand, so leaving the same review as I purchased this and the other cream together. Both broke me out really badly. This brand has been marketing itself everywhere and it seems that every derm and beauty salon pushes it. It caused me to break out within hours. When I used Yuka app to scan for ingredients, it showed some harmful ingredients in it and gave it a poor overall score. I wish I knew this sooner. Too bad that the derm industry pushes this unhealthy product. There are so many natural and far better alternatives. I suggest people research this product before purchasing. Your skin is the largest organ of your body and absorbs everything instantly. You should not be putting all kinds of unhealthy chemicals on your face/skin.

I’ve Upgraded!
The only sunscreen I trust especially for my face and neck is EltaMD. Over the years, I purchased the clear untinted one, didn’t love the tinted one. I read somewhere that AOX is the current favorite in sunscreens. Being a longtime LovelySkin member, I tried this line’s AOX tinted sunscreen which has excellent reviews and has easily become my new favorite. The tint is different and blended quite well with my skin color. I’ve already purchased a second one as I do not like running out of my favorite skincare products, and this is definitely one of them!!

I have used Elta MD for years and this is the first tinted sunscreen I have ever loved. I now use this everyday instead of the untinted sunscreen with a BB cream on top. This is the perfect tint and just gives my skin a glow. Doesn't go on greasy or too thick either

Prefer UV clear formula
I tried this based on the recommendation of a nurse at a med spa I go to. I have been using UV clear for years and prefer that much more. I found this formulation to be kind of pasty and it didn’t look good on my skin. It could possibly have more coverage because it’s more opaque than the clear one, but often when I wear the clear I get compliments on my skin that it looks glowing. With this it looks pink & pasty. Back to the UV Clear.

Great Sunscreen
I love a tinted sunscreen (skip foundation) and have used Alastin for years. After getting a deep laser treatment, I needed a higher SPF to protect my face. Elta MD is a recognized quality sunscreen provider. I bought this and SkinMedica's tinted sunscreen and I love this more. It goes on easy, not greasy and the tint is perfect for my fair skin. I'll continue to purchase this -- Florida sun is brutal!

I was really nervous about the reformulation, but this formulation is even better for me! It takes some rubbing to get it in, but it’s smooth, the color is perfect for me (Fitzpatrick IV), doesn’t sting eyes, it feels light and works with my oily skin (it stays on all day and doesn’t look greasy). Best sunscreen I’ve ever tried for my skin (tan/oily/acne-prone/some wrinkles/large pores in t-zone/uneven).
