This tinted sunscreen blends perfectly with my skin tone and leaves no whitish cast like some other mineral sunscreens. I do not need any foundation when I use it. I like that it contains hyaluronic acid to moisturize my skin without any leaving an oily feel.

Elta MD 44 is an excellent sunscreen. It feels great on my "mature" skin. It provides enough coverage that I don't have to wear makeup (I have med skin and yellow undertones). I wear this everyday in place of foundation and it gives decent coverage and glow. I have to use mineral sunscreens or I break out. This stays on pretty much all day too. It can look a little orange if too much is applied. I found it’s best to wait a few minutes after applying and then apply the rest of your makeup.

Gentle but ORANGE, not for fair tones
I have fair and very sensitive skin. I ignored the reviews and purchased this EltaMD UV Elements anyway due to the limited ingredient list. It looks like a bad orange spray fake tan on me. I even tried putting it on my fish white legs thinking I could get away with it there. Nope. Return and refund request is in process. I did give stars for non irritating. Instead- I recommend the EltaMD UV Physical Broad Spectrum SPF 41 Lightly Tinted Mineral Sunscreen instead. The elements would probably be better for dark skin tones who want a physical sunscreen but wish to avoid white cast

I have worn this sunscreen on and off for the past couple years. It's actually a favorite EXCEPT that it accentuates dry patches, if you have any and the color is a touch darker than I'd prefer. Otherwise it sets up nice and isn't too shiny. It's fragrance free and all mineral too, so no irritation for me.

I had a laser treatment on my face and needed a good mineral sunscreen to protest it without irritation. This stuff works ok but dried my skin a little and needed frequent re application. But it was not irritated. The trick is to layer a lot of moisturizer underneath it to stop drying.
