Favorite Sunscreen
I have tried many different brands of sunscreen and this is my favorite. With the tint I don’t even need to use foundation anymore and it doesn’t pill like some other brands I have tried. It works well for my acne prone skin.

It's surprising that this original Elements was discounted, as it was so popular! This one is way too dark, a bit thick and greasy. Might work for someone, but if you're expecting an improvement on the original Elements formula, this isn't it. Love EltaMD though.

Good protective coverage
Sometimes I want a little more coverage than my go to barely tinted facial sunscreen. I am glad I tried this. Thanks for the sample, LovelySkin! Good value I think for such a good product. No flaking or white cast.

Good sun screen
I love the original elements and this is not the same. Not bad either. However I learned not to take too much before applying. It does melt into your skin so it doesn't appear white and it stays on for 18 holes of golf. I need this protection due to melasma.

New formula is great
I was skeptical when I heard my beloved Elements had been reformulated. I'm actually pleasantly surprised! I like that it's thicker and creamier. Seems more like a tinted spf moisturizer in texture. The color is similar to the old formula just slightly different but still works well with my skin tone. I am able to use this and a concealer for days that I work from home. I'm glad that it is still a winner!

Not as great as the old formula, but good!
I liked the old formula better. It was easier to apply while the new formula is a bit pasty. I do like the tint better with the new formula (my skin is pale olive). Overall, it's pretty good and I prefer the extra coverage so I will probably stick with this one over the tinted UV clear.

I love the AOX over the other Elta physical sunscreen for the face. Although I wish the tint didn’t turn, on the orange side after it has been on for a while. Wouldn’t mind if it had more of a neutral pink tone where I can always powder and highlight over it for a more personalized color. What I do like about the AOX over the other tinted physical spf’s is that it doesn’t pill if I attempt to put a fair amount of the product on during application being sure that I get complete coverage, therefore protection.

Unhappy with reformulated product.
I am extremely unhappy with the reformulated product. It goes on thick and heavy and is orange. EltaMD was my holy grail in sunscreens, but I shall no longer be purchasing their sunscreens.

Not exactly like the discontinued one
This one was listed as a replacement for the discontinued one. I did not like this one as much. The shade is darker (a tad too dark for me). It also seems more orange than the previous one. It is thicker and has better coverage which is nice, but it transfers more easily. It doesn't wear as well under makeup as the discontinued one. Alas, not for me.

The color blends on different skin tones. I am kind of tan, and my daughter is lighter than I am but the shade works on both of us. It didn't cause breakouts. Also we were able to use on the eyelids without it burning or running into the eye.

Great Tinted SPF for Sensitive Skin
I have tried many high end products for my face, without success, until this one. I have dry eyes and they are super sensitive to anything I put on my face. This brand was recommended by a relative. I apply a light moisturizer before applying the tinted sunblock. It goes on smoothly and is a natural color...seems to blend into my complexion color. I can't say enough good things about this product. You have to try it to believe how easy to apply, and how natural it looks. I no longer use a foundation, just this!

I wasn't sure at first, but now that I have used it daily for a few months, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it.
