Tint color doesnt apply evenly
Have tried samples of this and always liked it, however the bottle I just ordered goes on very patchy with the tinted color. Its not overly noticeable inside with poor lighting- I noticed it when I was outside in the sun- my skin was splotchy with the color. Very disappointed. Otherwise I really like the product. Just dont buy the tinted version.

Best facial sunscreen available!
The best sunscreen is one which you will use everyday and I use this sunscreen on myself and my two children everyday! I have hyper-pigmentation on my face and have undergone expensive and painful laser procedures to try to lighten the dark patches of skin. I use this sunscreen everyday to help keep the dark patches from returning/ getting darker. I put this sunscreen on my childrens faces (ages 6 and 10) every morning before school to protect their skin during outdoor recesses. This sunscreen is the first one that my children havent complained about because it isnt greasy, smelly, doesnt make their skin shiny and doesnt leave white patches or streaks.

GREAT STUFF
I tried my free sample of the EltaMD sunscreen and I gotta say I love this stuff! I dont know if its better than the SkinCeuticals UV Fusion sunscreen though, Ive been using that stuff for the past 6 months now, but EltaMD does feel great. Does not feel greasy at all and its great under makeup. I may possibly order some after I use up my other sunscreen!

Love this sunscreen. Its light on the skin and I feel protected at SPF 46. I mix it with my jane iredale loose power and wear it as foundation during the day and love it. I will purchase this again and again.

Not the best. . .
I received a sample size of this with my LovelySkin.com order. Although it is touted for its lightweight, non-greasy texture, I found it to be quite the opposite. It felt very greasy going on, but when it dried down to a more skin-like finish, it pilled quite badly. I appreciate that its fragrance-free, but the smell is like burnt plastic. I dont think I could wear this under my makeup on a daily basis. Oiliness is an occasional problem for me, so perhaps I need something more mattifying. I would actually recommend this for dry skin. It doesnt leave a white cast, so it will work with darker skin tones. However, if shine bothers you, you may need to add a little powder over the top.

perfect sunscreen for sensitive skin
I have tons of allergies and really sensitive skin. This sunscreen is so light and not greasy at all and the huge bonus is it doesnt give me a rash or make me breakout. its very effective and i think has actually improved my overall skin quality. You do need to reapply but its fine over makeup doesnt seem to clog pores at all. I love it and always stock up when its on sale!

I only use EltaMD products for my face and body. They work great! The EltaMD UV Clear is my favorite for my face as it doesnt make my face breakout. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because the pump products have had a few issues being able to pump. Im hoping the manufacturer will quickly fix the problem. I will still buy EltaMD products!

Best Sun Screen for sensitive skin
I love EltaMD sunscreen, especially the "Clear" product. Excellent protection and includes ingredients to even skin tone whole not irritating rosacea or eczema. Love the mineral active ingredients. The more "chemical" sunscreens Ive used have caused skin irritation.

Another great EltaMD product
As someone with very fair skin, I know the importance of a good sunscreen. This sunscreen has a high SPF rating while also doubling as a sheer foundation, with just enough tint to even skin tone. I was worried about it not matching my skin, but it blends in smoothly. Looking forward to bringing this sunscreen on vacation this winter!

I have religiously used the untinted version for years ever since my dermatologist introduced me to EltaMD Clear. And now theyve upped their game with the tinted version! I like that the tinted version doesnt leave any white residue. I will say that it doesnt provide coverage so I still need makeup but it blends very nicely and gives a radiant glow to my skin after applying. Great sun protection for my acne-prone skin!

I have rosacea and almost every sunscreen makes my skin break out. This sunscreen does not cause any rosacea problems. I especially like the fact that it is tinted because I do not also have to wear makeup on top of the sunscreen.

Our new favorite face sunscreen
This is my husband and kids HG face sunscreen. It absorbs quickly and doesnt leave the whitish caste that other mineral sunscreens do, yet it contains a high concentration of physical sunscreen ingredients. I personally use a tinted sunscreen, but for my menfolk, the untinted version is perfect. Very highly recommended.

Best sunscreen ever
I live in Colorado, where the high altitude and frequent sunny days caused me to develop melasma by the time I was in my mid twenties. Since then, I have been religious about using a high SPF sunscreen on my face daily. I was a long time user of the Shisheido product, but they recently changed the formulation which was greasy and broke my skin out (which is saying a lot, since Im 44 and have perpetually dry skin). A lot of the other products dont have a high SPF or are chemical sunscreens, which I dont like. Thank goodness I got a sample of this stuff. Goes on clear, non-greasy, doesnt break my face out, and looks great under make-up. EltaMD, please please please never change the formulation.

I have tried so many $-$$$ varieties of sunscreen that have failed that I debated not using any at all. I spent half my life at the beach in Hawaii without sunscreen and have seen the aging effects over time. There is also the risk of developing the "C" word. Sunscreens on me are either too drying, too oily, too thick, too white, or cause breakouts. During my sunscreen research I found EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen - Untinted which had outstanding reviews. Its a little pricey, BUT, its absolutely wonderful! It goes on easily, disappears instantly, is fragrance free, doesnt irritate the skin or eyes, and makes my skin look normal! I havent felt the need / or want to use foundation so I cant attest to how it mixes with makeup. I will only use this brand of facial sunscreen from now on. I LOVE IT!

Perfect Daily Moisturizer for Retin-A Treatment
