Favorite so far!
I used this sunscreen during a current HOT spell and was very pleased that it did not cause my face to shine and look moist. I love the clear and slightly matt finish it provides. The texture is perfect for my skin. This sunscreen goes on smoothly. My only negative is that Im not fond of the pump dispensing system. I like to get all of the product out of the bottle. The jury is out since Im not through the first bottle yet. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Default Sunscreen for Face
I love how this only leaves a slight white cast to your face that disappears. My only issue is that sometimes I get balling after a few hours of wearing it. I have been buying it for the past 5 years due to a dermatologist recommendation. My other qualm is that I want a higher concentration of zinc oxide. But this is definitely the default favorite.

THE BEST EVER
I have used this sunscreen now for one month and I cannot say enough how excellent this product is. I have oily skin, prone to breakouts and hyperpigmentation and have tried countless of other sunscreens with disappointing results. This product leaves my skin feeling soft and totally NON GREASY, NO BREAKOUTS and I believe my hyperpigmentation has gotten a little better, at least no worse. Now I can be confident and wear it EVERY DAY like everyone should but in particular someone with hyperpigmentation. Thank goodness for this wonderful sunscreen!!!!!

I have long loved the untinted version of this sunscreen and it is the one product that protects my skin in both the high altitude mountains and the beach, both of which I frequent. Not greasy and I do not break out. I came to this brand after trying many others. I love that a tint has been added and its fairly neutral in color. A great product

Good stuff
With my years of acne and rosacea, I have used every product under the sun to clear up my acne. From natural products to very harsh. So my skin is sensitive to say the least. I feel this product is very light on my skin, and does not feel greasy at all. It is a physical, not a chemical sunscreen. I have noticed avobenzene makes my eyes burn and this product does not have that. It goes on pretty clear, maybe a little bit white. I have used other physical sunscreens, claiming to go on clear, and I looked like I used white paint!

BEST SUNSCREEN
I think I would cry if Elta MD ever discontinued this. This sunscreen is so light and non-greasy! I have combination skin and sweat pretty easily in the summer, so I wear it alone. But, in the winter I pair it with Elta MD AM Therapy for added hydration. Great product and worth every penny!

Terrible Packaging
I really like the sunscreen but the packaging is a complete failure. I recently bought 4 bottles for my family and out of the 4 only 1 pump worked. Since the bottle is a sealed container there is no way to get to the product short of cutting it in half.

Excellent for Oily Skin
I use this product every morning instead of moisturizer, under makeup. I have extremely fair skin and havent had any problems with sunburns. I am also a runner and it holds up well during long runs.

REALLY DOESNT BREAK YOU OUT
I have tried many high quality sunscreens that claim to be acne friendly/ noncomedogenic, but they never are. I always find that other brands end up either making me look like a pizza face or a grease monkey. Well, the search is over! This sunscreen not only has all the right ingredients to make it an effective sunscreen, but it also lives up to its claim as acne safe. It goes perfectly under my makeup and never pills or balls up when I apply foundation. It works, its good for your skin, and Ive never had any hyperpigmentation from the sun while this product is on my face. LOVE IT!

Didnt work on my face
Id tried another eltamd spf before (with Hyaluronic acid) and had liked it very much. This one is great in terms of application and consistency (no stickiness, white cast, shine, etc), but after a few seconds my face turned red. I continued using it on my neck and chest, but it reacted badly on my face everytime. Dont know why, because it contains the same ingredients of another sunscreen Id bought and that one was fine. Probably just my body chemistry. Love the eltamd sunscreens though and would continue buying the others!

EltaMD UV clear SPF 46
I had this sunscreen recommended to me by a dermatologist. It does the best job of giving my skin sun protection without creating new acne breakouts for me. I even tried another name-brand product, only to switch back to this product. Although it is pricey, it does last a whole year for me as a little goes a long ways.
