My Dermatologist recommended both the Elta MD UV 41 and 46 products for protecting my face. I have tried both and find them light and not greasy. I had used sunscreens before that tended to "roll up" in spots. No problems with these products!

A few years ago my dermatologist recommended the Elta MD UV physical to use as a block and a morning moisturizer. I had had a previous skin cancer removed, have wrinkles, and still get pimples, so it was the perfect product to protect and give a little tint as well! I order several tubes ahead so I wont run out!

everything in 1 bottle!
eltamd has been recommended to me by several dermatological professionals and i have been using it for years. the physical 41 is fantastic. its a superb sunblock and the tinting evens out ones skin tone without being too heavy. i am extremely pale and even though the color out of the bottle is darker than my skin tone, it doesnt look like im wearing the wrong color foundation the way some tinted products look.

Tint is too light
The product feels good but the color is too mild and leaves my skin with an even lighter color, dull to me more precise. I have light to medium skin tone, it might work well for those with super light skin tones. Quite disappointed to be honest, especially after reading all the great comments.

YAY - No Breakouts!
I love that this product causes NO BREAKOUTS because its comprised of physical sunscreens only (mineral, non-chemical). I apply it heavily with a foundation brush, not only for even coverage but because it feels like I don't have anything on my face at all. It has a matte finish and I personally like that. I was hoping not to need a foundation but the tint is so sheer that I definitely need a foundation and also to neutralize the mattifying effect this has on my skin. Overall, I like it and it's effective but I think the tint is really only there to disguise the white cast this sunscreen would probably leave on skin due to the physical sunscreen. Also, want to say thanks to the Lovelyskin Team for helping me pick this out :)
