Not a fan
This is my least favorite sunscreen in the EltaMD UV line, and I've used most of them. The texture is very thick, hard to spread, and leave white cast on your skin. Worst part is it's impossible to wash off with regular body wash, you have to use makeup remover or shower oil, which if you don't have handy is inconvenient. I'd recommend staying away from this one and look at other EltaMD waterproof sunscreens instead.

Easy application, great results
I have allergic contact dermatitis and this sunscreen is among a list of many other EltaMD sunscreens that's on my ACDS CAMP app. I primarily use this sunscreen on my neck daily and I love its versatility. It applies easily and doesn't leave a white cast.

EXTREMELY UNHAPPY
I bought this product 5/30 especially for my 8/2 vacation to Mexico since I knew I would be out in the sun and water a lot. NEVER AGAIN! It didn't go on easy for starters and my skin looked awful until I washed it off. It didn't sink in and disappear. I also had purchased a new good quality bathing suit and now it doesn't look new. It had white streaks on it for the day I wore it and a white tone on the straps. After washing it, it does look better, but just looks like the fabric is worn and not new. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47
I really wanted to love this sunscreen because of its great reviews and I love other EltaMD products. However, some ingredient(s) didn't agree with me and I broke out in an itchy rash with this particular sunscreen. I'm sure it will be fabulous for other customers but it's not for me.

Best Sunscreen
This is a must! Goes on smoothly and does not cause any breakouts or irritated skin. Also has a light, natural smell but isn’t “fragrant” by any means. Does it’s job and would never use any other sunscreen!

Gets the job done
I purchased this sunscreen because I am pregnant and physical sunscreen is safer than chemical sunscreen. This sunscreen leaves a white finish on your skin and can be hard to get off after your time outside.

Elta MD PURE...White Cast
I love Elta MD Sunscreen products and have used them for years, but the Elta MD UV PURE Broad Spectrum SPF47 is not for me. I prefer using natural mineral products of titanium and zinc. The Pure goes on thick and white and leaves a grayish white cast on my face. I will return for one of the tinted Elta sunscreens.

Very good sunsreen
Since I have sensitive, rosacea prone skin, and swim, I needed a water resistant one, that was kind to my face. It does not make me break out, and actually feels soothing on my skin. Since it is white, you do have to rub it in, which is not great for rosacea, but my skin settles down, and unlike some other reviews stated, it doesn't leave a white cast. I have started swimming in the evening now, but still use this sunscreen every day. LovelySkin also does a really nice job with packaging.
