Lightweight and non-greasy
I enjoy using this sunscreen. I get the tinted version. It's lightweight and feels a lot like a moisturizer. I can't think of anything that Elta MD can do to improve this sunscreen so for that it gets a 5-star rating.

I've always liked Eltas tinted moisturizer- goes on easy and smooth, lasts all day. The restore version adds an extra glow, looks really lovely! Provides better coverage than most other products I've used and doesn't feel thick or pasty or zinc-y. I'll definitely keep using!

SPF 40 Anti-Aging Facial Moisturizer
I do like this moisturizer since it has benefits for Anti Aging with SPF. It goes on with a slight white cast to it, but absorbs well and does not feel heavy or greasy.

It doesn't leave as much of a white cast as other mineral sunscreens. I'm grateful for the non carcinogenic ingredients. I wish it were easier to spread, but that is the sacrifice when choosing a mineral sunscren.

Finally No Eye Stinging!
I am so so happy to finally find a top quality sunscreen that doesn't sting my eyes. I can apply this sunscreen over my whole face, including eyelids, with complete confidence that it will not sting. Even other Elta sunscreens would migrate and sting my eyes but this does not! I'd give 10 stars if I could. Thanks Elta!

Nice sheer tint with strong SPF
I have used UV Elements prior to this, but I had read such great things about UV Restore I thought I would give it a try. I have pale skin that has yellow undertones. Luckily this tint is sheer enough that I can blend this down my neck and not have any issues. My skin looks better when I wear it AND I know that I am wearing a good quality sunscreen.

I was looking for an affordable tinted sunscreen that wouldn’t aggravate my mild type 1/2 rosacea all while not settling into fine lines and wrinkles. Elta MD Restore is hydrating and provides light-medium coverage for my light complexion. I took 1 star off because I wish it had a higher spf.

best sunscreen for outside activities
I like this sunscreen the best of all the EltaMD choices for outside activities which don't involve water. (When swimming I use the water resistant sport tube.) This sunscreen is thick, but not greasy, it feels almost dry. Great coverage, and makeup goes on easily over it. I buy it repeatedly!!

One of my sunscreen Holy Grails!
Such an amazing and moisturizing sunscreen. I typically alternate between this and the EltaMD Clear tinted and both are amazing! Restore goes on a little thicker and heavier, but after a few minutes absorbs perfectly into the skin. It definitely feels more like a luxurious cream and not at all greasy or oily. Absolutely a must have!

I usually use the EltaMD Elements tinted but needed an untinted sunscreen. I liked that the Restore also has no pore clogging ingredients, however it’s much heavier than Elements. It has a greasy feel and doesn’t soak in well. I’ll use it since I can’t return it but I probably will not repurchase.

Good formulation, but TOO Orange for my skin
I liked the formulation, but the color was way off and it looked like I was wearing the wrong color foundation. If this matches your skin color exactly, I could see it working. I don't mix my sunscreens because I don't know how that will affect the integrity of the formula so if I cannot wear it on its own then I can't wear it at all. I also do not wear foundation or concealer with my sunscreen, so I cannot cover up with orange tint.
