My favorite sunscreen for active days
This is probably my third or fourth tube of EltaMD Sport sunscreen, I wear it when I’m active outdoors, not for daily sun exposure, and it’s great for that. Sometimes I feel a tiny bit sticky, but this isn’t a high silicone formula (pore clogger) so I, okay with that. I can even wear it on my sensitive face and not get breakouts.

Best sunscreen with zinc oxide
My dermatologist recommended the ELTAMD UV years ago because of my melasma. I tried this and then many other brands ... and have come full circle back to ELTAMD. All other brands with zinc oxide leave a pasty, white film, especially on the face. I got tired of being told I looked "sickly." ELTAMD does not leave that kind of residue. It might seem pricey at first, but since it needs much less application than other creams, it's actually not that much more for excellent quality.

Great Protection!
I have very sensitive skin when it comes to the sun and this works great for me! I am of mixed descent and have tan skin which leads people to think I do not need sun protection but I do and this is my go-to! I use it mainly on my face but also use it on my body when I don’t use a spray-on.

It’s a solid sunscreen
I like how it went on feeling light and soaked in without feeling waxy or tight. It did leave my face shiny but did not make it breakout. I used it several times for my 5 mile runs and it did not sting at all when I sweat. I will say I was surprised that my chest got pink/sunburn several times I used it for a run so I don’t know if the SPF is not as effective or if I just need a higher SPF. It’s a solid sunscreen. Would I order it again? If it came in a higher SPF, I’d definitely give it another try.

Elta MD was recommended by my dermatologist. It is great for athletes and swimmers as it is water-resistant and spf 50. It is not greasy although it does give a whiter tint than some sunblocks but I feel it is doing its job and blocking harmful rays. it is my go-to sun protection.
