Re-applys greasy
My biggest downfall with this sunscreen is that it re-applys greasy. The first application is great but after that it gets more and more of a greasy look, which gives a sweating look. I do like that it is waterproof and I like to use it on rainy days or days at the beach for that reason. However, it isn't my daily face sunscreen anymore due to the greasy re-application. It also does burn for a long period of time if I get it into my eyes. I like that I can get 7 ounces of this at a much more reasonable price than some of the other EltaMD products. Also EltaMD overfills the pumps by a small amount in case they leak during transport so you're really getting even more!

Light not greasy
I love the Elta MD UV SPF 50. You only need a small dime size for your face. It absorbs and is not greasy. With the Covid19 that is all I use anymore and it lasts forever. I have already bought another tube for future use. My daughter and I also use other Elta products so she was excited to hear of this one also.

Greatest Water Resistant Sunscreen
This is the only sunscreen I have always used on my fair-skinned 7 year-old. Without it she would get sunburned in our backyard pool. I love that it’s in a tube because when it gets low, I cut it open and use every last drop!

good but greasy
I really like the protection I get from this sunscreen the reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's too greasy... at the beginning I thought it would absorb, but living in a humid/hot city the last thing I want is looking greasy and shinny, and not in a natural way... other than that the protection is great, it does apply easy, it does not move and the smell is not strong. The size of this bottle will last me all year long with 3 boys. The pump is very practical and will not waste product.

Heavy duty without heavy feel
I have several Elta MD sunscreens in my rotation for different situations and purposes. This sunscreen isn’t my go to when my family will be in the sun for a long time and needs a super good protection. It does take some time to apply (sprays are of course more convenient), but the final result is worth it. My kids are pasty white and they never burned while wearing this. It does leave a bit of a sheen on the skin, more like a healthy glow. I use it on kids faces—no problems with stinging eyes and no skin reactions. For my own face I use a different Elta MD sunscreen that has a tint and is more elegant for my combo skin. All day on the beach or pool—this gives a perfect long lasting coverage that I trust. I do reapply after swimming.

Amazing Product!!!!
My husband and I have been using EltaMD Sport Broad Spectrum sunscreen for years but only in the smaller 3 oz squeeze bottles. We live in Hawaii where the sun always shines. We are both very active swimming, paddling, bicycling and hiking. ALWAYS outdoors. My husband has a history of skin cancers and is very diligent about applying it everyday.
