Heliocare, the internal sunscreen
My dermatologist told me to buy Heliocare as an extra protection against the sun’s harmful rays. I have severe reactions to the sun resulting in hives and acute itchiness. Heliocare is from a fern. Since using Heliocare along with an external sunscreen I do not have hives and the itchiness has subsided. Its sounds a little like voodoo medicine. Even though I was quite skeptical it worked for me. Its natural so give it a try

Seems to be working
I waited until I finished a whole bottle before writing this and I really think it has helped prevent melasma flare-ups in the summer! I'm using the same sunscreen as last year and this year I have not developed any spots like I did last year. It doesn't cause any gastro issues either, so I'll keep taking it. The cost to prevent melsama is much less than an areolase treatment to get rid of a flare up!

With this product, I feel as though I am not getting burned as easily. I have fair skin and have had previous melanoma, so I am very proactive when it comes to sun protection. I spend a lot of time in the sun at the ball field and since starting Heliocare I am not getting pink. I still wear sunscreen, of course, but anything I can do to stave off burns, I do! A necessity
I found this product through reddit and blog posts after I experienced extreme hyperpigmentation after a day at the beach. I take one of these pills every time I go out on a sunny day and it really helps prevent new pigment, while also helping minimize the pigmentation I already had. I am a sunscreen fanatic and will never be without it. I can't see effects of this supplement immediately upon using but I believe that it is helping me in combination with seeking shade and using my sunscreen religiously. Anything that can help protect your skin in the sun is worth it! I also have a bit of a sensitive stomach so I never know how I am going to react to things and this didn't do anything harmful to me. I took a break from taking this supplement as I have been as adventurous and outdoorsy lately but it will be important when I start taking some of my hikes and runs.

Extra Sun Protection
I bought this to supplement my sun protection products. The sun at altitude is very strong, and I already use daily sunscreen, sun sleeves, hats. This product has been shown to improve sun protection. I'm not sure if it does help, but it certainly doesn't hurt and I tolerate it fine. I'll do what I can to get the best sun protection possible by keeping this on the daily.
