I like this somewhat mild chemical exfoliant. Maybe my expectations were high from all the 5 star reviews I read. I believe it could be used by most skin types. I use it about twice a week and alternate with a physical exfoliant.

This isn't a soap and lather type of product. The best way to use it is on dry skin because when glycolic mixes with water, it loses it's potency. After washing and drying, put a thin layer on and let it sit for a few minutes. The tingle means it's working. I don't use this daily because it would make me too flaky, and I try not to get it in the corners of my mouth or nose, where the skin could peel and become raw. This is a great exfoliant when used correctly a few times each week.

I love this product! It was recommended by my facialist. I have milias that are difficult remove and exfoliating on my own wasn't doing the job. I started using this cleanser and subsequent visits to the facialist went smoother as the milias were easier to remove and we could get more done in a session. Once you put the cleanser on your face you feel it working, but it does not foam or remove makeup. A little confusing on how to best use it if you dont want to use a new washcloth everyday. As of now, I just use it like any other cleanser, but dont expect foaming or deep cleansing.

A bit drying for my skin...
I like this cleanser but it is a bit drying for my aging skin. It works better on hot, humid midwestern days rather than the milder days of spring and fall. I wouldnt consider trying this for winter. However, I think it would be a very good product for those that struggle with very oily skin Im going to have my husband try it to see what he thinks.
