Good standby lip liner
I really like this lip liner in Plum, it's a really good basic that is also non-irritating to the sensitive lip area. Only downside is that you need to sharpen it periodically, which can be problematic if you keep one in your purse.

Not for Me
This pencil actually hurts my lips to apply. Though it has jojoba oil and esters in it and I thought that would give it some slip or movement it is dry as sand and feels like it. It fails to deliver a sharp crisp line as I prefer and instead is just dragged onto my lips with bad outcome. I enjoy many of JI products but finding that no manufacturer sells solid hits with every product.

I took a chance on this lip pencil and am glad I did. I haven’t had the best of luck with others I have purchased, as they have been dry and painful to use. This pencil is soft, easy to apply and easy to smudge when first applied. It has made a great lasting base for two colors of lipstick. I’m pleased.
