This product goes on smoothly without much effort. The line is easy to keep just the way I want it to look with the included brush. The color is very nice...not too black, just a nice soft gunmetal gray. Love it!

I'm very pleased with the jane iredale Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner. I bought the dark topaz (deep brown color) which was exactly what I was looking for. It is easy to apply using the brush that comes built in to the cap. Will definitely be looking at some other colors.

Nice Color
I liked the the purple color, and wanted very much to like the eyeliner, but discovered that it has a metallic look, does not cover as well as I would like, and did not hold up over just a few hours. I did expect that any Jane Iredale products would be great, but was disappointed in this one.

My kind of eyeliner!
So so easy to apply plus it doesn’t make my eyes itch. The little bottle is ingenious! All you do is pop off the tall skinny top of the lid to access the brush. The liner can be applied wet or dry; either way it goes on so easy. I prefer the dry method because it’s so easy to smudge. I’m loving anything Jane Iredale!

Good staying power
I am really liking this eyeliner because you can get a thick or thin line that you have time to smudge out. It also does not transfer to my upper lid. I use it under my lower lashes smudged out, and it lasts for quite awhile before settling into lines. It works better with crème eyeshadow, just take a bit more product and time to get it applied over powder eyeshadow but still with good results.

Wonderful eyeliner
I have been searching for an eyeliner that won’t irritate my eyes, is easy to apply, provides a softer line and will last all day. I have found it! This is a great product. It allows me to draw a soft diffuse line that will be there at the end of the day. This eyeliner removes easily when I wash my face at night. I ordered the charcoal. This is such a great eyeliner. Easy to use and stays on all day. I love the variety of colors - I have the dark topaz (really brings out the blue in my eyes), the onyx and the amethyst (one of my favorites)! Wear these almost every day! I'd love to see these in a deep blue color.

Wanted to love this
Based upon all the positive reviews I thought that this would be the eyeliner for me. Unfortunately, it smudges and smears, and I ended up with raccoon eyes after a couple hours of wear. It does work as a great smudged eye shadow which is what I have been using it for. I will continue using liquid eyeliners which seem to work best for me.

Good but not great
I'm not sure why this is called a powder eyeliner. It's a dense cream. I like the container with it's protected application wand being part of the container. I chose the amethyst color, as I need something more subtle than black with my complexion. It's definitely more subtle, but I wish it had a bit more actual color.

disappointing
Based on reviews, I'd hoped this eyeliner would work for me and not rub off onto my brow bone as most do (I have hooded eyes). But alas, although this eyeliner went on smoothly and looked nice, in a few hours it had transferred to my brow bone. Even using primer didn't help. Also, the brush is a nice thought but not really useful.
