I love Jane Iredale. However, this time I ordered the wrong shade. This is somewhat luminous and I am over the age of wearing luminescent shadow. I need strictly matte finish. Next time I will choose the right color.

Lovely soft shimmery shadow
The 4 stars are a reflection of my expectation because there is no problem with the shadow itself. Oyster has a very light shimmer which is perfect for the lid, an easy daytime look. A little goes a long way. But I thought I was getting a shadow to take up to the brows & even below the eyes to set Circle/Delete. Should’ve done a little more research...

Rose Gold Eye Shadow
I love Jane iredale products! The eye shadow is nice but using it with another one. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because it was a little lighter then I expected and wanted more shimmer to the product. I use the brown silk eyeshade, and that's my favorite! Just wanted to try the presse for a change.

Lighter Color
I ordered the color Bone, but it's almost as light-colored as Oyster which I already have and use it to highlight. I used it anyway as an eye shadow, and was surprised to see my eye appearing more open than with darker color (Almond) I've been using.

Great Selection of Colors
I use Platinum and really like the gray as it goes with my gray/white hair and skin tone. My eyelids tend to be oily, so this shadow creases fairly quickly. I do use the matte loose finishing powder first, but it hasn't helped much. That is why I've given it 4 stars.

Love the New Compact
I love the new rose gold compacts they are flat me light. I love the little mirror. The colors remain the same great vivid ones that have always been. I wish they would make some new color combo eye packs however, as these can get a bit pricey when you want more than one.
