I am 69 with decent but dry skin. Have used many high end foundations. But this is so natural looking and adds radiance. One pump is enough for entire face and neck. I am fair but warm toned with newly white pandemic hair. Purchased shade 123 and it is perfection. First saw this used by makeup artist Lisa Eldridge. Tried a sample and was blown away.

56 years old and FINALLY found my foundation
Just turned 56 so I've been through some makeup. You name a brand and I've used it. And I don't use the cheap stuff. I've been searching my whole life for something like this aqua foundation! It is so natural looking, doesn't sink into the lines and wrinkles. Feels great on my skin and looks great at the end of the day. Really doesn't look like foundation at all. I am just so grateful that I found the LovelySkin website and came across the sample of this foundation. Absolutely life changing.

Color is poor match
I would like to be able to really try this but the color I thought would work is much to light and I look like a ghost. I cannot seem to return this and exchange for a better match although the colors are limited in this foundation. It is light, has a nice finish, but hard to tell if it really works.

Check the ingredients if you have sensitive skin
I'm leaving a 4 star only because I have sensitive skin and it caused tiny breakouts when worn under the mask with powder. Otherwise this would just be my perfect go-to foundation. Pros: It has a very fine texture with super tiny shimmery particles; glides & spreads onto the skin with great consistency that looks super natural. I'm a light-skinned Asian so the creamy/slightly peachy 002 is very close to my natural skin tone (when lightly dusted with powder; otherwise it's a bit dark). I bought this for daily use when I don't want a difference between my face and my neck. However I also bought the 012 (lighter & just a bit more peachy) for professional purposes when I have to be onstage as a performer, etc. because of lighting. I like that both are more peachy in tone than other yellow/cream/neutral foundations out there, which means it's closer to the actual human skin tone and will lead to less of the "white-mask" effect. However it does oxidize so within 4-6hrs even the lighter 012 fades to my natural skin tone and there's not too much difference between 012 and 002. Cons: After wearing a full face of this foundation for two days onstage (1 light layer + light powder and then another light layer + light powder for more staying power), my cheeks broke out with small tiny bubbles, I'm not sure what they are because they're not red like acne and are not visible in the mirror, however they definitely are bumpy when I touched my skin. It was slightly uncomfortable and I was disappointed. To be fair, I had to wear masks some times on both days, but some other friends who did not need to wear masks also reported the same results. So while it's a beautiful foundation, make sure to check the ingredients so you don't hurt your skin. Also beware this has talc, and depending on how the talc is sourced, it may be bad for your body. I'll be turning to another foundation without some of the irritating ingredients, though it's a pity that I have to do so.

Love Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation !
This is the most natural foundation I have ever found. I hate a heavy feel on my skin and this is like wearing nothing. I did have to buy two shades to mix for my perfect match but it is worth it! I have combination mature skin. It is not full coverage but at my age that is not what I’m looking for. I’ll never buy anything else!

Great foundation
I never really like liquid foundations so I have used a mineral powder for years, most recently Jane Iredale. I thought I would give this a try and it is really nice. At first I wasn’t sure about it and thought maybe I needed to put a setting powder on it but you don’t need to at all. It give you a nice dewy look and I think it looks even better as the day goes on and lasts the entire day with no touch ups. I am glad I gave it a try because it looks better than my mineral powder ever did.

Dewy, smooth and blurred looks like real-skin improvement
I watched a makeup over 35 video where this product was recommended. I love it. At 49, I’ve got more of those fine lines and makeup can look caked and heavy now. This is a very special product and I love it. This seems to have optical diffusers in it that scatter the light. Skin looks more luminous and “blurred." The coverage is good yet it’s believable does not look like makeup. It feels light and stays hydrated—long wearing too. I did a split face comparison with my old NARS sheer (Which worked when my skin was oilier) there was is no question the Koh Gen Do was more optically beautifying. Makes me love my skin!
