I was looking for a heavy cream for not only my neck, but I am an above knee amputee that often gets sores from wearing my prosthesis. So when I saw the word "balm," relief and cooling came to mind. After reading the reviews and the price was reasonable, I ordered the product, and love it. It's thick, but not greasy, and rubs gently absorbing quickly, with no sticky residue. A very pleasant smell tops this product off. P.S. Works great for both neck and amputee sores!

Cicaplast Baume B5 by La Roche-Posay is the BEST
This is like a face chapstick almost that soothes your face without leaving it feeling or looking greasy! It really works wonders with dry and peeling skin on your face! I would have died without this after having a salycic acid facial peel and using prescribed Retin-A to treat Melasma! I love this product so much I ordered for my Aunt!

Good balm
I ordered several of these and like the baume a lot. Very good with dry patches, small injuries with broken skin, etc. It is, as one reviewer said, rather thick, so just rub it in good or wet your hands before using.
