Great skin barrier repair

This balm works very well to help repair damaged skin. Great for sensitive skin too. It is thick, goes on well and absorbs into skin with no greasy feeling. Took a star off for size and the smell is not bad but kinda medicinal smelling.

Great for Dry Skin

I have very dry skin and was looking for a moisturizer to layer over my retinol. I love the texture of this and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. A little goes a long way!

Very soothing

This product does a great job keeping my very dry hands moisturized without leaving them greasy or sticky.

Excellent for dryness & irritation

Originally bought this for my daughter whose skin was extremely dry from taking acne medication but I tried it for my own irritation from retinols. It is soothing and calming and helps keep me using the retinol. It’s too thick for under make up. I usually will use at night when skin is irritated.

Soothing

Nice enough but feel there is something better than this. It goes on well, but felt it wasn’t emollient enough for my dry hands.

Works well!

I’ve started using this balm as my nightly moisturizer and it’s really helped counteract the drying effect of my tretinoin. It’s not fancy but it gets the job done. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

I really wanted to love it

I heard great things about this product but it didn’t do much for me. I didn’t see a difference in my skin positively. Sometimes it felt a fit drying. I like that you can use less product but it does feel a bit pricey for the size. If I’m your ever trying it out, I hope it works for you:)

Works fairly well

I like how moisturizing this balm is, however it's super thick and leaves a white cast. The bottle is also surprisingly tiny, so if you like to use it on your whole face you'll probably run out in like a month.

Helped w dermatitis

I really really love this product. A little goes a very long way. Living in the north east a dry nose (and skin around the nose) is a common blight on delicate skin during the winter months. Mine is sometimes so bad it will flare up as dermatitis. This stuff does the trick to fix and prevent this from happening. Definitely keeping this in my arsenal of rescue remedies.

Great stuff, but too small of an amount with a pretty high price tag per ounce

I bought this because it was recommended by my dermatologist. It worked really well for the dry skin issue I have on my legs, but my skin was pretty dry and I'm going through it really fast. Others said it only takes a little for each application, but that was not true for me & I'm going through it much too fast for what it cost for the tiny little (purse sized) 1.35 oz tube so I'll only use it when it's pretty bad. Otherwise it's just too expensive.

worth a try

I purchased this to use as a hand cream. I wash my hands so many times in a day and they become dry & irritated, even more so in cold weather. It is not greasy and absorbs well, feels nourishing, but does not seem to have lasting effect. Maybe because I am washing them so often. For the price, I have used other products that are equally as good. But this is one worth using and may be better for other dry areas besides hands.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5

This is a good product! Nothing life changing but I did really like the lotion. It is very thick, creamy, and sticky, but works well to hydrate your skin well. I will say I am sad with the size of the bottle. I got this product less than a month ago and I am already almost out...I was looking for something to last me through the winter so that's disappointing. But overall I would buy again for travel purposes since the bottle is small but will buy something else for the winter that will last longer.

Pretty good

It seems like a small tube but lasts forever, at least the 6 months of the expiration jar on the package. Soothes irritated skin, doesn't break me out.

Great for Sensitive Skin

I recently increased my retinol usage which irritated my sensitive skin. I needed a non irritating product to restore my skin’s moisture barrier, and this is perfect for that. It’s so gentle you can use it as a diaper rash cream. It’s not the most elegant formula but it works. I like to cleanse my face with La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating cleanser, then apply this to still damp skin to lock in the hydration. A pea size amount emulsified in my fingertips and pressed into my face and neck is all I need. It’s very thick — meaning you should warm it and emulsify it in your fingertips before applying with a pressing motion (don’t slather and rub it on).

Great product

This product is fantastic. Only issue I have is that it’s fragranced and my sensitive skin doesn’t love that. Not a strong fragrance, but still bothers my skin a little bit. Overall though, very good balm.

Good balm for dry skin

I purchased this for dry skin in the winter and I love the way it makes my skin feel. It is very hydrating and not greasy at all. It’s soaks in your skin very quickly. Definitely a winter staple.
