I had read in various sources that this product was excellent for acne. However, I found that it was not as good as my regular drug store wash. I did not find it to be strong enough to make a difference in my acne either. I will not be re-purchasing it. I still gave it two stars because it was a good mild wash with no negative effects. It also lathers very nicely.

Lasts a long time
Gentle but cleanses well. I’ve used it for about a year now. The one I have came with a hand pump but the new image looks like it now comes with a cap. I like the hand pump, although it arrived broken the first time and they sent me a new one. Maybe that’s why they changed it.. although I use other La Roche-Posay cleaners with pumps and have never had an issue with others breaking.

The first thing I noticed about this cleanser was its scent. To me it has a slight rose scent, but it's very refreshing. When I pump it out it looks like a gel and first goes on my skin like a gel but then becomes a gently foam. It's not stripping or drying and I like to use it with my cleansing brush. I also use my hands as well on other days. I like to use this in the evening but it's definitely gentle enough to use in the morning. I get a good clean and I'm not dried out after washing. I have oily/combo skin and my T zone is most often the place I struggle with acne or oiliness...this cleanser is great for those areas and also my neck and back. I'm not totally pimple free but this definitely helps with giving my skin balance.
