Strong smell
I have tried many hyaluronic serums and this was by far the most expensive and my least favorite. I don't know why they felt the need to add such a strong scent to something that is just meant to be hydrating. As far as hydration goes, this does an OK job but no better than other cheaper hyaluronic serums like Vichy minerals. This is not groundbreaking in my opinion - definitely not worth the price

Budget-Friendly Option
This is a great intro product if you’re looking to incorporate hyaluronic acid into your routine. This product will last you a long time since you only need a few drops for your entire face. This serum works best when your skin is damp. Also using too much product will leave a sticky feeling on your face. Once you figure out how to use it, it’s a great way to add moisture day or night. I always use this under my retinol at night.

Great moisture
I use this after washing my face and before sunblock (I’m in Florida) and my skin has over time become much more moisturized and never dry around my dry spots as it was before this product. I also layer it over vitamin c serum a couple times a week and my skin is noticeably smoother and brighter.

Hyaluronic acid serum
I initially tried La Roche Posey’s hyaluronic 5 serum as a sample and loved it. It’s the first time that I’ve use a hyaluronic serum and I’m still learning about different products. My face does not need much of anything, and I’m very grateful for that so I am all about simple and effective. However, I think I was more excited about the sample because I was using it underneath my tinted sunblock and tinted sunblock or tinted moisturizer, blurs your skin, so it hides any slight imperfections or superficial wrinkles. Now that I have returned to using my regular non tinted sunblock, I noticed that I’m not as in love with the hyaluronic 5 serum. Sometimes it will pill underneath my sunblock if I use too much so it’s still a learning curve. with all that said it’s a great starter product where you can learn about what you need, where to go next all while feeling safe with this product on your face.

Budget HA serum that packs a punch
This is my 5th bottle and I’ll prob be reaching for this every time my skin feels a little dry. I’ve tried the more popular expensive options but end of the day this formula takes the cake for me. It goes on a little sticky but absorbs well and doesn’t pile which is very important.
