Gentle, rosacea-friendly cleanser
I spent nearly two years trying to find a gentle cleanser that worked on me as I have super sensitive skin and rosacea. Everything I tried seemed to cause issues except this LRP cleanser. I've been using it once a day for a few years now and I love it. I can't attest to whether or not it removes waterproof makeup, but my skin never feels tight in the winter or greasy in the summer after I cleanse with it.

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser
I’m currently searching for a new face cleanser after using a different one for years. Dermalogica changed their new formula greatly irritated my skin. I have rosacea and sensitive skin. This cleanser works okay if my skin is not as dry or irritated. I’ve noticed if I’ve used retinoids or lactic acid serums for a few days or my skin is more dry, this cleanser does sting and cause increased redness in my rosacea. I find it does irritate my eyes at times as well. I’m not sure if it’s the Nicinamide in it? It’s probably not a terrible product if you have normal skin.

Such a great cleanser
I have sensitive skin and living in the Midwest, the winter can be brutal on my skin. This cleanser is non-irritating and does not dry out my skin! There is not much of a scent either, which I appreciate. I love La Roche-Posay products, and this one did not disappoint! Will purchase again.

Effective and Gentle
I have used this cleanser for a few years and will continue to use it. I have mature sensitive skin and this cleanser erases my layers of sunscreen without causing any skin reaction, which says a lot with my skin. I do a double cleanse at night if I have heavier layers of sunscreen, where I use a cleansing oil or balm followed by this La Roche-Posay cleanser. Removes all the residue without stripping my skin.

I think this is a great cleanser for people that don’t have sensitivity to niacinamide. It’s reasonable priced. It is sulfate free, fragrance free with ceramides and unfortunately for me niacinamide. I had to quit using it because of the awful burning sensation.

This is a nice everyday cleanser. It removes make up really well, and does not leave any residue nor does it make skin feel dry. It is perfect for “in between days” when you are not using stronger, “actives” on your skin. I must compliment LovelySkin customer service—my first bottle arrived leaky and half empty. Great gentle cleanser
It's a great, mild lather, gentle cleanser! I use it first thing in the morning when I wake up so it doesn't need to be super intense, it doesn't have to remove more than a little oil on my face from overnight. Doesn't strip my skin either and rinses off nicely.
