Hello, Fragrance
I was looking for a conditioner with a lot of slip that could tame my extremely tangly hair; from the reviews this conditioner seemed like it would do just the trick. I found this was just okay at conquering my rat's nest. It seemed to be hydrating enough but overall I was just not impressed given the price point. I use a lot of high end conditioners and this was frankly just not up to snuff. The dealbreaker for me, however, is the fragrance. The first time I used it I was shocked. It is so heavily fragranced! I could smell it 3 days later while sitting and not moving. I could smell it while sleeping if I woke up during the night. It was just too much and I am not someone who is normally sensitive to fragrance. Looking at the ingredient list it all makes sense...fragrance is the THIRD ingredient. I think I have adjusted because it's now not AS strong when I use it and I no longer get headaches, but I can still smell it days later even if I've washed my hair and used a different conditioner! If you are sensitive to fragrance or prone to migraines, avoid this conditioner!
