I’ve been using Obagi products for several years now. I just recently added this facial wash to my routine in combination with my Clarisonic. My face is left feeling very fresh and cleansed. This will likely be my only cleanser going forward. The smell is not that great but I’d rather not have any additives.

Unfortunately not a product for me
I wanted to like this cleanser, and I gave it a shot. I used for a while the face felt clean, the pores seemed to look smaller, but I got a rash on my neck and had to stop using it. It felt too painful to keep going and wait to see if it is only a temporary skin reaction.

Is gel better than cleansing cream
I switched from Shiseido products to try this brand based on recommendations from a friend. So, far it’s ok. No burn or irritation notes. However, I do have a slippery feel after using this product. I am assuming it’s the gel effect unlike the cleansing cream I usually use that gave me a squeaky clean feel. So far I haven’t seen anything noticeably different from Shiseido, but then again, I’ve only used this about a month only. I will see how it goes once I used up this product to see if my skin is any different/better after using this product.

Obagi-C cleansing

I actually use another brand facial cleanser, but this is my husband’s favorite for his own personal use. He likes that the Obagi C-Cleansing Gel cleanses his skin without leaving soap residue. He’s always used regular bath soap on his face when in the shower, but has found that he even gets a closer shave with this product.

Obagi is worth the investment.
I have tried many Obagi products since the mid-90s, and it is a very results-guaranteed skin care line. I love how gentle and cleansing this the Obagi-C gel cleanser is. I need only apply a drop to my cleansing brush and my face feels clean and fresh. A little goes a long way.
