This is my favorite cleanser. It's never drying. I like it even better than the Obagi regular cleanser (without vitamin C).

Brightens your face!
when you wash your face with Obagi -C Cleansing gel, it immediately gives a brightening effect and I feel my skin is fully cleaned. Also removes dirt and leftover makeup. I feel the active ingredients already working when I cleanse with Obagi -C. I have combination skin so it works for me, if you have very dry skin it might be not for you. It can be drying.

This is a nice cleanser that does not dry out my skin. I don’t see that it does anything to add any real “brightening” so that is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. I have used it for about 6 weeks so maybe with continued use that will happen.

Gentle face cleaner
At first I was disappointed by the bottle because it was not sealed, but I found out that this is how it comes. after a week of using it, I can say that it doesn't dry out my face and it's much brighter I use it with the Obagi hydrate face moisturizer, amazing, love the brand!

Tried another product and came right back
I’ve been using Obagi-C for over 20 years. Because spend a lot on other anti aging products besides face wash I recently decided to switch to a cheaper, over the counter face wash. I Was back to Obagi-C in less than a month. I clearly notice my skin getting dull looking. I’ll never stray again this product does what it claims.
