Made this purchase because my doctor prescribed retinol A and it was very drying to my skin. The moisture cream I had been using for many years could not help with the moisture loss and left my skin red and irritated. My doctor recommended this product to try. I use the retinol A at night and apply Obagi Hydrate after. Then in the morning apply the moisturizer for the day. No more dry, red irritation areas. I use about the size of a small pearl.

It doesn’t make the skin feel oily after application but I can still feel that my skin is hydrated. I got it together with the cleaners & toner but felt that the because the quantity of the hydrate is less it is likely to finish before the other two hence would recommend getting two bottles if you’re using the 3 steps

I have used MANY high quality and drug store moisturizers. This is the best! I have always had normal to dry skin and this moisturizes without clogging pores. I use it for all seasons and also use it on my neck. BEST of all, it does not have fragrance, which causes many people, including me, problems.
