Highly recommend. Makes distribution of Retinol 1.0 over entire face/neck easier when you are only using a pea sized amount. I mixed equal parts (pea size + pea size) and found it much easier to distribute SkinCeuticals Retinol 1.0.

The combination of Blender FX and Retin A produces amazing results. I have been using Retin A for 10 years but recently added Blender FX, and I am so happy I did it. Have used Obagi for 5 years (from 25 years old to 31)....my friends are now getting injections and Botox. I have only been using the blend fx for about two weeks, but I've noticed some mild improvement of my melasma patches already. I do mix the blend fx with an equal amount of retin-a. I can't wait to see the results after using this for several months. There is a chemical smell to this product, but it seems to fade away. I have migraines and the scent has not triggered any headaches for me.

The only thing that''s made a dent in my melasma
I had a baby a little over a year ago, but the discoloration on my forehead that started with the pregnancy has yet to fade completely. Melasma is a notoriously tough skin condition to treat, and I've tried everything from laser pigment peels to hydroquinone. This product mixed with my retinol has made the biggest long-term difference. Bonus: in addition to reducing my pigmentation, I've also seen an improvement in my overall skin condition, and it seems to make my retinol less irritating too!

I have been using the Obagi series for years. The blender mixes well with retinol. It is not exactly odorless, and if I say anything at all it doesn't have a nice smell, but it isn't offensive. It isn't fragranced. The two work well in combination to soften fine lines and brighten skin. I recommend it.

I use the Retinol 1.0 with the Blend by Obagi. Works better with the two together. I see a difference when I just use the Retinol alone than with the Blend and Retinol together. Shows on my face. Gets into the layers of the skin better. It works to get the retinol into the layers deeper.
