Better than excepted
My aesthetician recommend the Obagi Professional C Microdermabrasion Polish and I thought I’d try it. I hoped it wouldn’t be another product I didn’t use regularly. And it’s not. I love this. Since I cannot get my micro needling due to the restrictions in our state, this has become my stand in. It’s amazing. It helps brighten and firm my skin. It’s a scrub and a mask in one jar. You must make sure your hands are damp/wet as it’s clay like and won’t spread if your skin is dry. I love this stuff,!

Great Mask
I've been using this mask for almost a year and have seen great results. It smells good and does a great job with brightening my skin. It can be a little irritating to the skin at first, but with more uses my skin became accustomed to it.

Best mask ever for pigmentation
I don’t tend to leave reviews even though I depend on them to make my purchases (I know I know) but this mask deserves praise. OK yes it is expensive HOWEVER it will last forever. It comes with a tiny scoop that you use to get the product out of the jar. I have a pretty good pain tolerance and I can’t leave this on more than 10 minutes. Yes it will sting so maybe you start with 5 minutes and work your way to 10-15 minutes. I like to massage it in while it is on my face to help with it being itchy/stinging. Use warm water and a washcloth to remove. DO NOT SCRUB. It will leave a film on your skin this is going to protect your skins barrier. Gently pat dry or leave skin damp (personal preference) and apply vitamin c serum (I like Obagi c 15). Your skin may still feel “hot” it’s ok. Let dry minimum a minute then if you want lather on your favorite oil. Wake up to glowing skin. Only use 1-2x a week with a few days in between uses. Only use at night. NO acids or retinol same night you use the vitamin c mask! Hope this helps!

Bright Skin
Since this mask is rather hard and waxy in texture, the best way to use it is with damp skin and remove with a warm damp wash cloth. I use a small scoop full and rub it between my finger and then spread on my face. Let sit for 15 or 20 minutes (it does sting a little in certain areas) and then I use a warm, wet squeezed wash cloth to rub it around and then remove it (If you try to remove it just by splashing your face with water, it will not come off as easily as with a wash cloth). It feels so good to see how bright and fresh my face looks after. I follow with my Obagi Lux Moisturizer. I get lots of compliments on my skin.

Love/hate relationship with this mask! It is great for dark spots and brightening, but it STINGS. I use once a week and follow immediately with Obagi Vitamin C serum. Definitely not for sensitive skin!

I like this, but I wish it was a slightly thinner consistency
I ordered this as a pregnancy-mask when I had to give up using peels and retinol. I was a little concerned because my skin is slightly more sensitive, but I've had no problem with this at all. It doesn't burn at all and leaves skin soft and bright. My only complaint is that it is very hard and difficult to spread over your face unless your hands/face are very wet.

Non-irritating Light Microdermabrasion
Consistency is thick but applying as directed on damp skin makes the process easier. Can adjust the amount of desired dermabrasion by adjusting pressure and the amount of time the product is massaged. Nice tingling sensation while the product sits on the skin. A little difficult to effectively rinse the product after treatment......but left my skin feeling smooth and glowing. Suggestion would be to apply and massage pre shower and the shower off the product effectively afterwards.

I like that it has vitamin C, and it’s not to abrasive but very effective. It provides a nice exfoliation leaving a lovely glow to my skin, I do believe the vitamin C will absorb more easily, along with the application of Obagi Professional-C Serum 20%. Highly recommend!

I am not a skin care/cosmetics diva. I had high hopes with this product as I've used a lot of Professional C based Obagi. The end result is good as it gives you a bright clean fresh look after, but it's so hard to use it. It takes forever to rub on your skin and remove. Was thinking of returning but would keep it just have to try to use it differently, so it's less annoying.

Very Potent
I agree with reviewer Suz1. This polish is quite strong. I also left if on for 15 minutes and realize it was too long for me. I am flaking and my face appears sunburned. It could be because of winter and my skin is much drier now. I also use prescription Retin-A, which makes my skin more vulnerable. I have always been a big fan of Obagi products and will continue to be. My suggestion would be start with 5 minutes and see how that goes.

I like it, but it is strong
I like this product, but I cannot use it that frequently. If you have sensitive skin, be very careful about how long you leave this product on your face. It does tingle and will exfoliate with a very fine polish, but once I left it on longer than the recommended time and was sorry. I had a lot of flaking and peeling for about a week (but that happens to me a lot with products). I will continue to use it less frequently and will leave on my face for only five minutes. It is hard to rinse off and will leave you with a waxy feeling on your face. I used it before showering and then rinsed and cleansed in the shower, so this was not an issue for me.
