Great for the shower
I really like this face wash for the shower as long as I'm washing my hair. The little exfoliating beads don't dissolve so it can be a bit annoying if not washing hair...I end up finding the little beads in the hair around my face. Otherwise, I really like how it feels and cleans my face. A little goes a long way and it's not drying at all. I just wish they'd change the formula so the beads dissolved...then I'd use it all the time.

Beads don’t disintegrate!
Love this brand so much, I actually forgot how much I hate this cleanser and bought it for a 2nd time! The exfoliating beads feel like hard little plastic beads that do not disintegrate. They get in my eyes and stay there scraping my cornea. Or I find beads on the back of my neck that got stuck in my hair and didn’t wash out. Ironically, it makes my skin look great, but not worth the annoyance and irritation.

My new favorite exfoliating cleanser
I love this product. I have been using the Obagi line since 2012.but I had no idea there was an exfoliating cleanser. I’ve been looking for a couple of years for one I liked and now I’ve found it. Perfect amount of exfoliating crystals, not too harsh and makes my face feel amazing. I’ll be a repeat buyer for sure.

I love Obagi.
This exfoliating cleanser is not my favorite Obagi product. The base of the cleanser is creamy and easy to rinse. However the exfoliating particles are not as fine as I prefer and don’t rinse off easily. I don’t feel like I get a good overall exfoliation.

Not my favorite
Overall I don’t love this product. It was mentioned in other reviews that the micro beads don’t dissolve. I didn’t think it would be an issue but it is. It feels odd and it takes a ton more rinses to get all the beads off your face. I still find in my hairline. I also feel the beads are large and have liked in the last smaller to help with exfoliating. I will say I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate my skin so that’s the positive. Won’t purchase again

Please change beads!
I have used Obagi products for years and, in general, really love them. However, I will not be purchasing this cleanser again unless the beads are changed. The cleaning aspect is fine; the beads are, from my perspective, a disaster. I have been very careful with using the cleanser, but the beads can get in my nose, mouth, etc. if I am not very careful. And rinsing takes so much MORE effort as the beads get in your hair if you wash close to your hairline, as I do. The cleanser would be outstanding if the beads dissolved. They do not and, therefore, the cleanser is a problem for me.
